☘︎ ݁˖Ace's POV: Conversations in Despair ☘︎ ݁˖

---

Ace sat quietly in his cell on Level 6 of Impel Down, the cold iron bars a stark reminder of his fate. His thoughts often wandered to his brother, Luffy. The only solace he found in this hell was the occasional conversation with Jimbei, who had become a steadfast friend during these dire times.

"Jimbei, do you think Luffy will come?" Ace asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Jimbei, with his deep and calming presence, responded, "Knowing Luffy, there's no doubt in my mind he'll try. But Ace, you have to understand the dangers."

Ace sighed, leaning his head against the cold wall. "He's always been stubborn. Ever since we were kids, he never gave up on anything or anyone. I just... I don't want him to get hurt because of me."

Jimbei placed a comforting hand on Ace's shoulder. "Your bond is strong. But sometimes, even the strongest bonds can't change fate."

The cell door creaked open, and Vice Admiral Garp walked in. His face was a mask of conflicting emotions. "Ace," he said, his voice gruff but with a hint of sorrow.

"Gramps..." Ace greeted him, his voice tinged with a mixture of respect and bitterness.

Garp looked at Ace, his eyes reflecting the pain he felt. "This isn't what I wanted for you, Ace. I tried to steer you away from this path."

"I know, Gramps," Ace replied, looking away. "But I had to find my own way, make my own choices."

Garp's fists clenched at his sides. "I failed you. And now, I might have to watch another grandson be executed."

Ace's heart ached at the thought. "Don't think like that, Gramps. Luffy's different. He's going to change the world."

Garp's eyes softened as he thought of Luffy. "He always was a handful. But Ace, if he comes here... I don't know if I can protect him."

Ace felt a pang of sadness. "Just be there for him, Gramps. He'll need you."

☘︎ ݁˖The Visit from Boa Hancock ☘︎ ݁˖

The heavy silence of Ace's cell was disrupted by the sudden entrance of Boa Hancock, the Pirate Empress. His regal presence commanded attention, and Ace couldn't help but feel a flicker of hope.

"Hancock," Ace acknowledged, a hint of surprise in his voice. "What are you doing here?"

Boa Hancock, known for his beauty and cold demeanor, approached Ace with a serious expression. He bent down, whispering urgently into his ear. "Luffy is here. He's fighting his way through Impel Down to save you."

Ace's eyes widened in shock and fear. "Luffy... he really came?"

Hancock nodded, his expression softening slightly. "He will not give up. You know that as well as I do."

Ace's heart raced with a mixture of hope and dread. "But what if he gets hurt? What if...?"

Hancock interrupted him gently. "Trust in your brother, Ace."

With that, Hancock rose and exited the cell, leaving Ace with a swirl of emotions. The other prisoners murmured among themselves, speculating about the purpose of his visit.

Jimbei observed Ace closely. "What did he say?"

Ace, still processing the information, replied, "Luffy's here. He's fighting to save me."

Jimbei's eyes widened with a mix of admiration and concern. "Then we must prepare. Luffy will need our support."

☘︎ ݁˖Garp's Reflections ☘︎ ݁˖

Garp stood outside Ace's cell, his mind a storm of thoughts. The idea of losing another grandson was unbearable. As he walked away, he couldn't help but wonder about Luffy's thoughts, his determination to save his brother against all odds.

He remembered Luffy's fierce declaration to become the Pirate King and his unyielding spirit. "Luffy... what will you do when you find out you can't save him?" Garp muttered to himself, his heart heavy with worry.

Garp's thoughts returned to Ace. "I wish I could help you, Ace. I wish I could change this outcome."

The burden of duty and family loyalty weighed heavily on Garp. As he walked through the cold, dimly lit corridors of Impel Down, he couldn't shake the feeling of impending tragedy. Both of his grandsons were at the center of this storm, and he felt powerless to protect them.

☘︎ ݁˖The Final Countdown ☘︎ ݁˖

The atmosphere in Ace's cell grew tenser as the day of his execution approached. The news of Luffy's presence spread like wildfire, igniting a glimmer of hope among the prisoners but also a deep sense of fear.

Ace's mind was a whirlwind of thoughts. The reality of his situation bore down on him, but the knowledge that Luffy was fighting to save him kept him going. "Luffy... please be safe," he whispered to himself, clinging to the hope that his brother would succeed.

As the minutes ticked by, Ace could feel the weight (this man is fighting for his life rn)
