Charlie then turned to Mayank.
Mayank didn't notice that. He was deep in thought; his head down. Charlie leaned forward and rested his hand on Mayank's shoulder.
Mayank shuddered and looked at Charlie.
Charlie smiled. "Stop thinking about it now. What happened, happened. Just don't do it again."
Mayank nodded.
Charlie squeezed Mayank's shoulder gently and continued, "Your heart is at the right place, Mayank. Just get your mind in the right place as well. You are a well-educated, intelligent, and good-hearted entrepreneur and person. You know the difference between right and wrong. It is not expected of you to not understand the discomfort of a girl, right in front of you."
"I am sorry, Charlie," Mayank said in a low voice. He looked down, "My insecurities clouded my judgment."
"I know. You were sad because of Maira's comment due to Veena's incident." Charlie said. He paused for a moment before he said, "Tell me something."
Mayank looked up at Charlie.
Charlie continued, "Why do you have to prove anything to anyone? And why should satisfying your girl always mean sex?"
Mayank looked at him – confused.
"Let me explain," Charlie said.
Then he looked at Maira and asked, "Maira, what satisfied you more last week? Me in bed with you or me stopping when you asked me to stop?"
Maira's face flushed once again, at the thought of what happened that day. She replied softly, "You stopped when I asked you to stop gave me a sense of satisfaction and security that I never felt before."
Charlie looked at Mayank, and said in a soft voice, "Did you hear that?"
Mayank nodded.
Charlie continued, "Today, satisfying Aanchal was not about satisfying her through sex. It was about seeing through her. Seeing her discomfort. And stopping at the right time. Maybe, if you had stopped at the right time, she may have felt safe with you. And as a result, she won't have rejected your touch." He looked at all three boys and continued, "Whether it's a one-night stand or a long-term relationship, the girl must feel comfortable when you touch her. Her body should not reject your touch. If you achieve that, then you are satisfying her on a true level." He paused. He leaned back on his chair and said, "You all heard Lovereet's intro. She told us that she had a boyfriend who tried to convince her for sex. And she broke up with him for that reason. Who can tell me why she didn't let him have sex with her?"
"Because she only wants to have sex after marriage?" Meet said.
Everyone raised their hands.
Charlie smiled. "I don't agree with you guys."
Everyone dropped their hands. But their gazes were glued to him.
"She clearly told us she doesn't wanna lose her virginity before marriage," Aanchal said, narrowing her eyes.
"Yes, she said that. But I still believe the reason why she didn't let her ex have sex with her was because she didn't feel comfortable with his touch. It had nothing to do with her vow of not having sex before marriage."
The competitive spirit in Aanchal rose once again. She turned to Lovereet and said, "Lovereet, what do you have to say on this?"
Lovereet looked at Aanchal. Then she looked at Charlie and said, "Charlie, I'm sorry. But I have to agree with Aanchal on this."
Charlie smiled. "Okay. In that case. I would like to try a little experiment. Can you allow it?"
"Okay," Lovereet said.
