Sarah had always been fascinated by the stars. She often escaped the bustling city life by retreating to a nearby hill, where the sky stretched endlessly above her like a canvas painted with constellations. It was on one such evening that she first noticed Mark, sitting a few feet away, his gaze fixed on a telescope pointed towards the heavens.
Curiosity piqued, Sarah approached him, her footsteps muffled by the soft grass beneath her feet. "Mind if I join you?" she asked with a smile that mirrored the sparkle of the stars above.
Mark looked up, surprised yet intrigued by her presence. "Sure," he replied, gesturing to the space next to him. "I'm Mark."
"I'm Sarah," she replied, settling down beside him. "What are you looking at?"
Mark adjusted the telescope slightly and invited Sarah to peer through it. "Saturn," he said quietly. "It's my favorite planet."
Sarah marveled at the sight of Saturn's rings, shimmering in the telescope's lens. "It's beautiful," she whispered, her breath catching in wonder.
And so began their nightly meetings on the hill, where they would lie side by side, sharing stories and dreams beneath the blanket of stars.
Sarah discovered Mark's passion for astronomy and his quiet introspection, while Mark found himself drawn to Sarah's vibrant spirit and endless curiosity about the universe.
