Ok, I have a habit. Instead of righting "you" for readers point of view, I write "I" because really, who wants to apply you as in yourself? It just messes up my head. Please, enjoy and if you like it and want to read a story more like it, comment and request it. Oh, and if you have any ideas for future chapters, comment those too.
"Man....I am so bored" I said, laying face up in my work chair. I am from a random island on the red line, so pirates come often...except none have come in weeks, so I haven't been able to prank anyone! Don't know why though, nothing that involves marines happen here. Heesh, the closest marine station is two weeks journey to the east! I was currently at work, which is actually a flower shop/"snack"ery(like a bakery, but with a lot more snacks). I owned the place really, so I made everything, from planting the seeds to selling them. The door bell rang and a few pirates came in. Finally! I sat up in my seat right and looked at them. One was The Pheonix Marco, Thatch, and Whitebeard himself, along with a newbee...I think his name was Ace.
"Yo! We need these things if you have them" Thatch said. I looked over the list and gathered everything I had.
"I don't have this specific pig meat, but I do have a few of a similar region" I said.
"What is it called?" Thatch asked.
"Great Stamp, found in the Visca forest" I replied. (Totally took that from Hunter X Hunter XD)
"How much and how big are they?" Thatch asked.
"$125 for each pig" I said.
"Why so much?!" Thatch asked.
"They are the most dangerous pig in the world, well known anyways, and look at that thing, it nearly ate my leg off" I said, pointing at the dead pig next to me.
"...That is actually pretty cheap, is it fresh?" Thatch asked.
"Caught it three days ago, if that is what you call fresh" I replied, rolling my *eye color* eyes.
"We'll take two" Thatch said.
"Ok, be right back. Make sure no one gets killed" I said, walking outside. I ran around for a good two minutes before one tried to take of my head. I took my spear and stabbed its forehead. I carried it back and laid it down next to the other pig.
"Where did you get that?" Ace asked.
"Just killed it" I replied, totaling up their amount.
"You just killed another one?" Thatch asked.
"Once you know their weak spot, it is pretty easy. That will be $729" I said. Thatch handed over two gold objects and I examined them. One was a necklace and the other was a spear accessary.
"Ok, here is all of your food" I said.
"You are actually keeping them? Not asking for something in exchange for the spear thing?" Ace asked.
"It looks cool and would go with my spear, it has been looking rather dull" I replied, shrugging my shoulders.
"Hey, what is your name?" Whitebeard asked.
"I am *Name*, it is a pleasure to meet you in person" I said.
"What are these?" He asked, holding up a basket of candies.
"Um...are you asking specific flavors, price, ingredients and name?" I asked.
"Yes" Whitebeard replied.
"They are a mix of cherry, strawberry, blueberry, pineapple-" I was cut off my Ace laughing.
"Pineapple! Where? I found Marco!" Ace laughed.
"Please ignore him" Marco said.
"Ok, basically a lot of different fruit and berry juices mixed with honey. They are 50 cents for each one, and they are homemade. They really don't have a name" I finished.
"Who made them?" Ace asked.
"That would be me. I make everything and plant everything here" I replied.
"...And these are?" Thatch asked, pointing at the cakes in a cupboard.
"Vegetable cakes. People from the island always complain about their kid hating a certain vegetable they hate along with why they hate them, so I made them to shut them up" I replied.
"What about these?" Ace asked, holding up roses.
"Those are roses. Even an idiot knows that" I replied.
"I know what they are...Why do you have them in different colors though?" Ace specified.
"Different colors have different means. A red rose is love, white is innocence, salmon is for desire, yellow is friendship, etc, etc" I said.
"Oh...can I buy some pink and red ones?" Ace asked.
"Sure, do you want them wrapped?" I asked.
"Uh...I don't know" Ace replied.
"Get them wrapped if it is for a girl" Marco said.
"Ok, I want them wrapped" Ace said, handing six of each.
"Together or separate?" I asked.
"Together" Ace replied.
"Any specific color ribbons or card?" I asked.
"Just give me the card and ah...what color ribbon would go with it?" Ace asked.
"Orange" Marco said.
"Why orange?" Ace asked.
"The color of your hat, yoi" Marco shrugged.
"Can I also have a few candies?" Ace asked.
"Sure, you are the customer" I replied.
"Ok, can you like, put them in the roses?" Ace asked.
"I can put them WITH them if you want, but they would taste terrible if I added them inside of them" I joked.
"Ok, is this lemon?" Ace asked.
"That one is plain honey, the bright yellow is pineapple, and the really clear yellow one is lemon" I said. Ace grabbed a few of each flavor and handed them over. I put them in and then gave them to him.
"$12" I said. He paid up and then after all of them bought a few things, they left. Even Whitebeard bought a few candies and veggie cakes...someone must really hate celery, cause he bought seven and one cabbage. I sat back down and just waited for them to come back, complaining about something. After a while a few kids came running in and they bought some fruit candies, one even bought some chocolates and asked for special wrapping. I gave them a little discount and just laid back and relaxed.
"Hey miss! Can I make a request?" A common customer, little girl named Susie, asked.
"Of course, what do you want?" I asked.
"A vanilla cake with raspberries hidden in it! Oh, and the frosting has to have a pink and strawberry tinted taste to it! And a chocolate heart in the middle that says, Love You! ~Chu! And a few mini chocolate kisses on them!" Susie said.
"When do you need it?" I asked.
"Oh, well.....in a hour or two?" Susie said unsure.
"So ASAP?" I asked.
"Yeah!" Susie said.
"Then how about you watch the shop for me and call me out when a customer comes in while I make it?" I asked.
"Can I snack on some plain honey candy?" Susie asked.
"Of course, oh and you can eat this carrot cinnamon cake, it will expire soon anyways" I said, putting them in front of her. I made the cake without any troubles and Susie looked very happy.
"Here is the money for it!" Susie said before she ran out. She was short a few dollars, but I just ignored it. The sun went down so, I closed shop. I checked all the shelves to see what needed to be stocked up, and took a few nearly expired things down. I cooked up some food for a while before going to bed.
