Zane: "alright, um, hello?" Zane shouts, in the middle of a forest.
Zane POV: "I could have sworn I heard voices. And why do I feel like I'm going up?" He wonders, blatantly confused about what's going on.
???: "who's there?!" Some women-girl-thing yells. He can see her clear as day, so he really doesn't see why the black-haired person was shouting.
Zane: "Missing child named Zane ring a bell?" He says with sarcasm, really not caring about how she would think about him, then he noticed a man beside her, but decided to give her the benefit of doubt.
???: "oh! Hello there. My name's Victoria! You must be my son!" She exclaims, excited to see him after so long. Zane's starting to think she's overreacting, like in the story Tangled.
Zane: "and where is my father? Is he here too?" He accidentally blurts out sarcastically, and hoping that they didn't catch the sarcasm in his voice.
???: "yes I am actually. My name is John." A strong, blue-eyed man says.
Zane POV: "ok well, this is awkward.. maybe they can give me some answers." Zane thinks for a moment before asking a question.
Zane:" So, um, What exactly are you? And why are we in the clouds?" He asked, starting from the hardest to self-explanatory. Then it sets in.
Zane POV: "wait...I'm on a c-cloud?! How??!!" He freaks out, wondering how this is possible. It breaks the law of physics and science after all, and he's a man of both.
Victoria: "I'm an angel (literally), and John is a demon (quite literally)" Victoria says calmly, as if this was normal.
*They show they're wings*
Zane POV:"ok then...this is freaky.." Zane starts to panic more than he already was.
John: "you have wings too y'know." This catches Zane off guard, getting him out of his thoughts.
Zane: "I do?" He asks, wanting to see what his looked like.
Victoria:" yes! Although yours looks really different..." She said, as if she was scared.
Zane: "what do you mean? Is there something wrong with them?" Zane wonders, because of her tone of voice.
Victoria: "well no... maybe...ok yes, but! They come from your ancestor.." Victoria explains nervously.
Zane: "who was?" He asks her, then looks at John, knowing he probably won't get answers from the lady who's panicking.
John: "Maleficent..." John says, and Zane really starts to wonder if he's in a story book, then suddenly Zane feels as if something he knew was coming to life. It gave him chills.
Zane: "ok, HOLD THE PHONE, no one said ANYTHING about Disney characters being real, much less my ANCESTOR!" Zane exclaims, obviously mad and confused about how this villain would be his ancestor instead of Gene's ancestor.
Victoria: "hehe..yeah... I may have forgotten to mention that part.." Victoria says with a nervous laugh, and Zane just stares at her with the same glare Zianna gave Garte.
Zane:" YOU THINK!?" He finally says, to worried about how this news would affect the others on the hub, but soon something more sinister came back to him. What if the Shadow Lord decides to use him? Then what?
John: "ok chill. You are extremely powerful, I dare say more powerful then her, but you need to learn how to control your powers." Zane relaxed a little after hearing that, but is also angry enough to slip back into his priest-like state of mind.
Zane: "I know how to control one of my powers, and that doesn't need training.. especially when it's MANIPULATION." He says, with a bit of a threat in his voice.
John: "uh, well, I'll show you how to control your powers, and you can live with your friends, alright?" John says, trying to renegotiate with Zane, who's sending the parents chills.
Zane:"hmm...deal." He pondered it for a split second, then agreed. If this is what he has to do, then he will see that it gets finished.
