Human Zalgo in this is goth, but whateves, have Ayesha. Originally posted on Tumblr, NOT STOLEN!!!
Wind whistled calmly, leaves dancing down to the ground. A light sprinkle of rain drizzling down as you stepped on the sidewalk, your footsteps leaving small thumps. The rain water began coming down heavier, the droplets hitting your head, soaking into your hair. You had forgotten to wear a jacket, and the fact your backpack wasn't waterproof. You didn't care about getting wet, but you did care about the fact you had your computer in your backpack, and you didn't want it getting ruined. The clouds bunched together darkly, a rumbling thunder corrupting the air in a snap.
You began to walk swiftly, the water droplets hitting the pavement heavily now. You had to take a pause when you felt the rain no longer hit you. You looked up to see a man, he was tall with dreadlocks that were pulled into a ponytail, some locks were a nice looking red. A pair of round black sunglasses hiding his eyes. A fancy black and red suit covering his body. His hand clasping an umbrella that shielded you and him from the harsh rain.
He looked down at you with a small grin traced on his lips. You stared up at him in confusion, he kept a hand behind his back and stood tall.
"Hello?" You said in a questioning tone.
"Hello, young prince, it's a bad time for a walk," he says calmly, his voice having a slight gravel and southern twang.
As he spoke, you could see sharp fangs that made themselves known to your eyes.
"Um.. yeah, I guess," you replied, you didn't know why this man was even near you.
"The devil's beatin' his wife," he let out a small huff of a chuckle. You didn't understand the saying, if seemed mean and a little wrong. "I see that look on your face, it's a saying where I'm from, it doesn't mean anything bad, actually, maybe it does, I choose not to question it."
You blink, this man was so peculiar.
"I gotta go," was all you said.
You pulled on the straps of your backpack and he sighed through his nose.
"Of course, here, I don't need it," he holds out the umbrella to you. On the handle you could see the name Zalgo imbedded in it.
"Thanks, Zalgo?" You thanked him. You wondered if Zalgo was the brand of a company or the man's name, either way he smiled and nodded.
"Of course Y/N, let's meet again another time." You turned to leave, but then you realized he had said your name, you didn't say your name.
"Hold up!" You turned around quickly and saw that the man was gone. "What the?" You said aloud, the man just vanished like a ghost.
