"Moon Yumi?"

"Lee Heeseung". They both say in unison. They both stare at each other stunned and in disbelief. Is it really Moon Yumi? My Yumi? Heeseung thought to himself.

His manager looks between them feeling the tension. "Do you two know each other?" His manager asks looking at them confused. While they had never acted together on set, they sure do have history though. Heeseung sighed taking a step forward. "Um, yeah we know each other". Heeseung clarifies. Flashbacks of them together all those years ago come rushing back.

"Um, I will give you two a minute to look over the contracts. And we will go from there. I am going to make a phone call". With that Heeseung's manager leaves the two  alone.

Yumi takes a seat at the table only leaving an extra seat between them. Heeseung sneaks a glance at Yumi feeling mixed emotions. Yumi clearly looks the same only with shorter hair. She sighs crossing her arms. Clearly Yumi was agitated, that Heeseung could tell.

"I wasn't expecting you to be the one that they chose for being my fake boyfriend. They kept the person's identity a secret. But it seems that we were both meant to cross paths again". She stated feeling all kinds of mixed feelings. Last time they saw each other it wasn't a fond memory. In fact she was relieved to see that Heeseung was doing better. He looked more like himself. And not a complete stranger.

Heeseung let out a sigh that he didn't know that he was holding in. "I was shocked to see that it was you who they picked. I honestly didn't know that it was going to be you though. I hope that we can make this work for the both of us". Heeseung said as he knew that they were once rivals. Yumi turns and looks at Heeseung. He clearly seemed different, yet familiar at the same time.

"We're both adults now, I am sure that we can get along. By the way are you doing better?" Heeseung was confused as she had asked that out of the blue. "Yeah, why?" He asks feeling more confused. Heeseung wasn't sure what Yumi was referring to. Yumi nervously bites her lower lip.

How could she ask without offending him. Would he remember? She thought to herself.

"I had heard that you were involved in an accident a few years ago". She revealed. Yumi remembers hearing about the devastating news. And being there was the hardest part of all. Heeseung glances at her feeling his heart race. How did Yumi know? Heeseung thought. Only his closest friends knew about the incident.

"I have good days and bad days. Sometimes the tinnitus gets overwhelming. How did you know I had an accident?" He was curious. Now it was Yumi's turn to feel nervous. She had to come up with something quickly to say.

"I had found out through a friend of mine. I am relieved that you're better now". She somehow felt relief, but also felt guilty. She was the reason why Heeseung got hurt. Perhaps Heeseung still doesn't remember?

That night had permanently altered their lives. "I cope with it in different ways. At night I don't sleep which causes insomnia and other symptoms. Shall we look over the contracts now?" Heeseung pointed towards the papers. Yumi nods. "Sure, lets go over them". Yumi says as Heeseung hands her the paperwork.

As they skimmed through the paperwork, they actually agreed on most of the rules and requirements. "I think rule number four should be changed. I feel like it's coming on a little too strong. Perhaps holding hands or hugging in public is better than kissing. What do you think? I mean it needs to be realistic enough for people to believe. But I feel as though kissing is forcing it. Kissing needs to happen naturally". Yumi added her own input as it involved her also.

Heeseung read the rule thinking of what to say. He hums under his breath. "I can say I also agree. Perhaps our managers can change it out. And put our input  on it. I mean at the moment kissing is a little much". Heeseung responded. Yumi nods looking everything over.
