Suman pov:

I finally reached the comfort of my home, the tension from the day's events slowly easing. After freshening up, I joined madhu for dinner, the aroma of her cooking instantly lifting up the spirits. Over dinner, I recounted the entire day in a goofy, exaggerated way-especially the stair punishment and your sneaky elevator escape.

She chuckled, shaking her head. "Sounds like your boss has a knack for drama. But at least you outsmarted him-for a while."

I laughed along but felt my mind drift back to the parking lot scene, his teasing smirk, and that infuriatingly casual "little ass" comment. It lingered like an itch and I couldn't scratch.

Unable to let it go, picking my phone phone and called Tina, my go-to person for venting. As soon as she answered, I directly dove straight into the story, sparing no details about the parking lot confrontation, the car ride, and the "little ass" incident.

Instead of being shocked or indignant on behalf of me, she burst out laughing.

"Oh my God," she said between giggles, "this is gold! I can totally picture it-he's just messing with you because you're so fun to fluster."

I groaned. "Tina, this is serious. He's infuriating!"

"Infuriatingly cute, maybe," she teased, her voice dripping with mischief.

"Admit it, you two have chemistry. Like, the whole enemies-to-lovers vibe? It's practically a rom-com."

"What? No!" I exclaimed, horrified. "There's no chemistry-he's just a bossy jerk!"

"Yeah, yeah, keep telling yourself that," she quipped. "But I'm shipping this. Big time."

rolling my eyes, though a part of me couldn't stop replaying the day's events in head. The way he smirked, the way he effortlessly got under my skin.. shaking my head, trying to dismiss it.

A sudden realization struck me like a jolt. The conversation fell silent in the end, my mind racing back to that night the one memory that refused to piece itself together clearly.

"Tina," I blurted out, cutting her off mid-tease.

"What? Don't tell me you're finally admitting the boss crush," she teased, clearly still in a playful mood.

"Not that," I said, my tone is more serious now. "That guy... the one who was with me that night. Do you remember who it was? My memories are all over the place, and it's driving me crazy."

She went quiet for a moment. "The guy? Why are you suddenly asking about him?"

"I don't know. Something's just not adding up," you admitted, your voice tinged with frustration. "I keep thinking it was Yuvan, but every time I try to remember, it's like my thoughts get all jumbled. It's confusing."
