I woke up from a knock on the door. I look over on my bed to see Jack laying down on the floor. I got up from my bed and opened the door.

"Hey, yn." JJ said. "Hey." I whispered. "John b said you wanted me?" JJ asked. I close my door and walk to the porch with him following behind me. "I want to talk." I said. JJ nodded. "I was wrong about kicking you out. I miss you. I miss us. I'm so sorry for everything."

"Oh, really? It's been almost a month and you haven't seen me and now you just want me to spawn back into your life whenever you want?" JJ asked stepping closer to me. "You cheated on me! I had to have time alone! I'm sorry if you could just cheat on your other girlfriends and just be cool with them because you can't do that to me. I broke up with you and kicked you out because I needed time to forgive you!" I said. I was scanning his body to make sure he didn't have any hickeys. What I didn't expect to find was scratches, cuts, dried up blood, a cut on his lip and bruises. I grabbed his hand and asked, "what happened to you?" With tears in my eyes.

"My dad happened. That's the reason I moved in with you. So, my dad wouldn't beat me more." JJ said pulling his hand away. "You can't stop letting this happen. Do you want me to take care of him?" I ask with tears in my eyes. "I stood up for myself today. Didn't go as planned because I didn't hit him with a wrench like I thought I would. I just love him and I wish he could love me the way I love him. I know he can be rough on me sometimes, but deep down, I really love him." JJ said tapping his fingers on his side. I didn't speak but I just hugged him. "You still have me and the pouges." I said patting him on the back. "I'm sorry for you know... hitting you and stuff. I just don't know what was in my mind and I don't know why but I forgot you weren't my dad but you reminded me of him the way you were screaming so loud and I was screaming back so I wasn't thinking and I just started yelling and hitting and that doesn't really give me a good excuse for abusing you but can you just forgive me this once and let everything go back to norma-" I cut his yapping off and kissed him.
To my surprise, he kissed back.

All I know is that I love him forever.
