Jack and Jill stared into the night watching as the sand continued to make their way the the children sleeping in bed and granting them beautiful dreams of unicorns and daring adventures, they twins were still a bit disappointed but more at peace with it now. As they continued to watch, Jill felt something run past her that was too fast for a mere human or animal.
"Did you see that?" she asked, Jack shook his head at her but then the same figure ran past them again.
"Now I did." Jack answered and they took off running after it.
Car alarms started to sound as the twins jumped across them eager to find out what it was they were chasing after. Eventually the twins end up in an alleyway when they hear a crash coming from below. Jack and Jill looked at each other, neither one felt great about the situation in front of them, but if there was a threat that may harm the place they call home they couldn't just let it slide. Slowly the twins drifted down into the alleyway in fighting positions, circling back to back with each other Jack ready with his staff and Jills fists were raised and her eyes were glowing while snow slowly fell around them.
Jill had a nifty trick she found out about a hundred years ago where she could almost disappear within the falling snow but not completely, meaning someone could notice her if they paid attention, while not the most powerful of powers it had helped her and Jack out while causing mischief and mayhem.
"Hello mate." Jack jumped at the sound catching him off guard while Jill disappeared within the snow, running around Jack to get behind the voice they both knew.
"Been a long time, Blizzard of '68 I believe." Bunnymund told Jack
"Easter Sunday wasn't it?" Jill stated standing right next to Bunny with a menacing grin making him flinch away at her sudden appearance. "What Bunnymund, You didn't see me? Not enough carrots in your diet?" she asked innocently as she went to stand by Jack.
