The scratches and fingernail marks left across the top of his shoulder, felt warm to the touch and made him smile several times during the next few days, especially when he was changing between photo shoots and a few of the staff exchange a look. Yoongi kept his expression schooled to boredom, the memories of what created them tucked inside his mind for him alone but the members didn't let it slide.
"That one has claws," Hobi mentioned, dressing next to him as Yoongi slipped a shirt over his head. Yoongi didn't reply even though they both knew he had heard, ignoring the grin on Hobi's face.
"Claws and she's obviously good since hyung keeps coming back for more," Jimin teased.
"Fuck up and stop calling her she. You all know her name."
"But do you want us to say it here hyung," Jungkook asked anxiously, eyes big as he glanced around at the staff. Yoongi was incredibly private and they all doubted he'd want them to know her name until he was ready to introduce her to more than just his manager.
"I don't mind, don't particularly want to keep her hidden apart from to keep her safe."
They exchanged looks and he rolled his eyes. "I can see all your faces you know," he commented, tying the laces on his shoes. It was the end of a long day of photos and he was finally able to put his own clothes back on, looking forward to meeting a few friends afterwards for a drink. Kat had a family event with the girls so he was filling in his free evening with someone other than her, something he hadn't done in a while.
"Does that mean you're asking her to the gala," Namjoon asked and he shook his head.
"Is there any point? She can't sit with us and I don't want her to come and try and blend with staff. It would be awkward."
"But the after party hyung? You know she would be fine there. All the people who attend are covered by NDAs."
"I hadn't thought about it," he said, running his hand through his hair. It was true that the gala itself would be pointless because she'd have to sit by herself and he knew she'd hate that. But the after party was the way idols and actors let down their hair in a safe way, only people on the guest list were allowed to attend and NDAs signed well in advance for everyone's benefit, not just them. A lot of their friends were in the industry and all in similar positions. They'd be crucified by the media if anything of their private life came out so they all respected those times when they could let loose in a safe way.
"I mean, she'd be welcome," Namjoon said and Yoongi nodded. It would be something he would ask her about and if she wanted to then he would love to have her there.
"Gawd, you look so sappy right now hyung," Hobi said and Taehyung interrupted.
"Leave him alone Hobi-hyung. He's happy, we all should be allowed to be." Yoongi shot Tae a tight smile and headed to the door.
"Yoongi hyung," Jungkook called after him and Yoongi turned to the maknae, waiting. "Has she got any sisters," he asked cracking up and Yoongi just rolled her eyes.
"She has daughters and before you ask, they're strictly out of bounds to all of you," he said glaring round the room and as he walked out the door he heard Jin laughing.
"Awww, cute, he's already taking on the role of dad," and Yoongi faltered a little before his strides lengthened, used to the teasing but deep in thought. Did they just refer to him as Dad?

They'd been watching a documentary together about baby animals, her legs resting in his lap and his hand ran up and down from her ankle to her knee in a relaxed way that had become the way they were when together; easy, light, unconsciously drawn to each other. Drinks had flown to lips, mostly sipped on very slowly by Yoongi and he had been quiet, seemingly absorbed in what they were watching until now but he had actually been lost in thought, wondering how to mention about the gala. He had thought about it for a few days since the members had mentioned it and had been finding a way to broach it. It somehow felt quite monumental, including her into his wider world.
