Chapter 33

The Inn Wa Monastery has really large trees surrounding its compound and they only use a few night lights after the sun went down. The lamp posts are also very few in number and their old ragged surface produce very little light. So, the compound darken after sunset with people barely seeing  their own footsteps when they walk around.

U Lone, the attendant to the head monk was seen talking with the monk in the shrine room, probably going over some matters regarding with the upcoming festival. He turned his back to the door, missing two flying figures jumped into the compound from the big tamarind tree.

"Awwh man... you can still jump..", one of them said.

"Shut up Sai..."

They both looked at the main building where U Lone and the head monk were talking and  decided to go to the other dormitories to do some searching. Nodding at each other, the earth beneath them softened, two bodies sinking in slowly and disappeared into the ground.

Both of them showed up near the main kitchen building while Sai Lun wielded out his staff to sit down at a meditation post.

"If he took Vi, I can sense my energy to trace his room... fire energy wouldn't be so difficult to find.."

He closed his eyes putting his hands on the thighs while Thuriya stood guard for people. Sai Lun levitated from the ground while his staff in his hands glowed bearing a yellow light.

After a few seconds, he opened back his eyes looking at Thuriya in terror.

"What... what is it...."

"I... sensed something..." said Sai.

"Vi..? Is it Vi..?"

"No...." Sai Lun shook his head, his eyes turning wide.

"It's much more stronger...."

"Stronger..??" Thuriya exclaimed.

"What's stronger...?"

"Fire energy.... But so much stronger....Vi's remaining seed wouldn't have sent off that much of a power...."

"So.... What are you saying?", asked Thuriya in haste.

"There's someone else like me in this compound.."

Thuriya's eyes also turned weary from hearing his friend's words.

"... Can you find it..??". Thuriya asked, his eyes darted to the side from hearing a snap. 

Sai nodded at him, before pointing to a direction.

The two secretly approached an old archive building near the back of the compound where big trees grew more abundantly than the rest of the area. They lurked through the shadows before finally stumbling upon the building that stood tall and ancient in front them.

"It's coming from inside this building..". Sai Lun said looking to Thuriya.

Without even thinking about what they would encounter, they both pushed through the big teak door and went straight into the structure. 

Meanwhile, U Lone, who was talking with the head monk, heard bells ringing in his ears.

He instantly looked up to the surrounding, finally fixing his gaze towards the back of the monastery compound.

"What's the matter Mg Lone... Did you hear something?"
The head monk asked.

"I.....", he hesitated for a moment.
