"Did I say something wrong?" I ask April when I'm with her because Hayden and Isaiah wanted to spend a day with the boys.
"Girl, no. If you don't want to get pregnant now, that's okay. Anakin is still small." Does she agree with me?
"Isaiah and I argued about that too," she says.
"Really?" I ask and put my glass of wine on the table.
"He thought that another child would be great so that Jax could have another brother or sister. But I told him that I wasn't ready to have another child yet."
"How did he take it?"
"We barely spoke to each other for a whole week," she says and drinks her glass of wine in one go.
"Great, that helps me," I mumble and pour myself another glass of wine.
"Hayden will understand," she says and squeezes my hand.
"It's been five days now and we haven't exchanged a word, only when it's about Anakin," I tell her.
"Believe me, he will soon," says April and I hope she's right. I hope April is right because I really miss Hayden, we just don't talk, when we sleep in the same bed he doesn't snuggle up to me or try to touch me anymore and I miss his touch so much.
We hear a car door slam which means Isaiah is back, I say goodbye to April and know Hayden is waiting for me outside.
