In the hallway, Ka'Tai was dialing his dad's number and trying to calm down. "Yo, you all right man?" asked Ja'Kari in concern. "Oh, yeah, bro I'm cool." Said Ka'Tai trying to be calm and keep himself from going back into the cafeteria to beat them up. "You sure, man?" asked Ja'Kari not really believing Ka'Tai. "Yeah bro, you already know I don't care. I'm just gonna call my dad and tell him wjat happened. He'll bring me something and it'll all be cool." said Ka'Tai as he pit the phone to hid head. "Hellooo?" said his dad Chaston. "Hey, um... Dad?" said Ka'Tai in a kind of wine-ish tone. "Oh! Hey Tai! Jason, babe, it's Tai. What do need Tai?" said Chaston to Ka'Tai's other dad, Jason. "Can't you or pops bring me something for lunch? Please?" begged Ka'Tai. "Why? What's wrong Tai?" asked Chaston now getting angry. "No... um? Dad can you guys just do it?" pleaded Ka'Tai. "Okay Tai. But your gonna explain yourself when you get home." said Chaston angrily. "Okay dad." said Ka'Tai in relief because he'd finally get to eat bit also in disappointment for having to talk about to his dads because he knew they'd be really mad. "Mkay. Bye Tai. Be good." said Chaston. "Okay, bye dad I will." said Ka'Tai. Then they both hung up. "So...?" asked Ja'Kari. "Oh, yeah, my dad's gonna bring me some food." said Ka'Tai. "You sure your good man?" asked Ja'Kari still believing he was angry. "Didn't I just say I was fine bro?" said Ka'Tai. "Alright don't bite my head off for it! I'm just tryna make sure you cool." said Ja'Kari as they got a pass and walked to the office to wait for Ka'Tai's dad.
