Heeseung entered the café and looked around with a slight smile. He owned it.
The workers started greeting him as he greeted them back with a smile and a bow. Suddenly, his girlfriend ran to him, hugging him tightly.
Heeseung laughed and hugged her by her waist. "You're finally here." - She said happily and kissed his cheek.
"Yes, I couldn't wait to see you." He giggled cutely and handed her a rose. "For my beautiful girl." She squealed and hugged his broad shoulders.
Heeseung was the type of guy to be your first and last. He would always keep you around him with sweet words and gestures. You would never have the chance to look at another guy with the way that he treats you.
He would always buy flowers, sing songs, and would give the person that he loves the most new experiences.
Meanwhile, Soo ah, was the sweet girl who was crazy for things like that. When someone would ask her, 'Why did you choose him?' She would always answer with 'He's the best', and she's not wrong.
Heeseung smiled at her cute gesture and gave her a light kiss on her forehead. She finally let go of him and helped him by carrying his guitar. He was about to say that she didn't need to help him but found himself smiling at her struggles while carrying the guitar.
He put the rose down on the stage and greeted the elders. After Soo ah left the guitar on the stage, he thanked her and got on the stage.
This was his café, and he loved being there. He would always sing for the clients to give the morning or the evening a more peaceful and warm atmosphere. He loved singing, and he was very good at it.
A lot of people would praise him for his singing by saying that his voice was angelic or that it sounded like in the 90s, and he was very happy to hear those praises, because it inspired him to sing more and show off his voice to the world.
He considered auditioning to be a K-pop idol a few times, but he changed his mind since he wanted to be free.
The people at the café cheered loudly and happily as they saw Heeseung get on the stage, and Soo ah looked at him with a happy smile. He chuckled at them and sat on the chair, cleaning the piano's tap before opening it.
He started slowly playing the piano, and after a short while, his soft and warm voice could be heard inside the café as people fell in love with his voice all over again.
The clients were enjoying and humming to the song. The door opened as a short girl with long and black hair entered the café. She was quite shocked at the music that was being played from the inside.
She sat down on a chair, and none of the guests paid attention to her since they were pretty focused on the song. It took only a few minutes for her to notice that Heeseung seemed kind of familiar.
Haein leaned a bit forward and stared at him while raising her eyebrow. He was singing lovingly.
'Oh, I know him.' She spoke to herself.
Haein is a kind girl who, despite her father's wealth, likes small and simple things, like going to picnics, painting, reading, and other things like that. She's in love with romance movies and books.
Her brother teases her a lot for not being able to find her true love in real life, but she just ignores him and continues doing what she loves. Even though she's interested in romance, she isn't in the mood to look for that.
Heeseung's father and Haein's father were friends for a long time, but Heeseung and Haein never really ran into each other.
Uncontrollably,Haein started humming to the song. After a while, Heeseung stopped singing, and everyone started cheering for a second time.
It made him smile as he wished everyone a good night and got off the stage. He sat beside Soo ah, and she kissed his cheek.
Haein looked at them and then looked away when a waitress came to ask for her order. Haein replied shortly and thanked the waitress.
Heeseung could be seen smiling at Soo ah as she was talking to him about something. He was lost in her eyes.
Haein sighed as she left the café without getting her order. A short while after, the waitress came back with her order, but she wasn't there. The waitress called her a few times, but there was no reply.
Heeseung noticed and excused himself to Soo ah as he approached the waitress. "What's going on?" He asked.
The waitress explained to him about the situation, and Heeseung nodded with an understanding expression.
"Just leave it here. Maybe she's in the washroom. I think she's going to come back." Heeseung added after the waitress stopped talking.
However, someone behind them heard the conversation and replied by saying: "She's not going to come back. She just left."
Both the waitress and Heeseung nodded. The waitress looked at Heeseung and spoke, "I should throw this then." Heeseung shook his head and took the plate.
"I'll take it." He smiled. The waitress couldn't help but blush. She nodded and bowed at him. They both wished each other a good night, and Heeseung sat beside Soo ah as he placed the plate on the table.
