Chapter 10

I woke up to the smell of smoke and I knew it was my aunt Lynn because she is a smoker. I got up out of bed and went downstairs. Thank got today was Saturday.

"Hi honey" aunt Lynn said with her

Cigaret in her right hand.

"Stop calling me that"

"Okay Laura how did you sleep?"

"Fine"

"Why are you so moody Laura?"

"I don't know"

"Well, you better shape up"

I just rolled my eyes and sat down at the dinner table. I saw my phone light flicker and a message appeared and it was from Jasper and it read, "Can I come over?" I just smiled and replied saying "Yes."

"Aunt Lynn my boyfriend is coming over"

"Okay I can't wait to meet him Laura"

"Yep"

"Here now eat your food"

"What is it"

"Eggs"

"Thanks Aunt Lynn"

"Oh your welcome hone-"

Before she could finish her sentence I gave her a nasty look. I swear if she called me honey one more time I'm going to flip.

"Laura"

I finished eating my breakfast and went upstairs to get dressed because Jasper was going to be here soon.

I picked out a pair of Grey skinny jeans, a black blouse with a big flower, and white converse. I looked pretty descent. I brushes my hair nicely and put on some light makeup.

I went downstairs to wait for Jasper and get my aunt Lynn's opinion.

"How do you like it?"

"Why do you always where such dark colors all the time?"

"Oh my Gosh, because that's what I like"

"Okay yes you look nice"

"Okay that's all I was asking, I don't need you to rant about it"

"Don't get smart with me missy"

I just rolled my eyes and ignored her.

I walked over to the couch and just sat there waiting. A few minutes later he finally rang the door bell and in a hurry I opened it.

"Hey babe"

"Hi"

"Laura I want to meet your aunt"

"Okay come over here"

I grabbed his hand and him and I went inside the kitchen.

"Aunt Lynn this is Jasper my boyfriend."

"Nice to meet you Jasper"

"Nice to meet you too"

"So how old are you?"

"17"

"Ah one more year than my little Laura."

"Yea, so Jasper what are our plans today?"

"Whatever you want to do?"

"What about the beach, I've never been there"

"You have never been to the beach?"

"No"

"Well we are going to the beach."

It was to cold to go swimming at the beach so we just wore what we had on. I told my aunt Lynn that we are going to the beach and she had no problem with it, as long as I was home at 8:00 p.m.

We got into Jaspers car and off we went to the beach. The fight we had yesterday got really out of hand. When it came to Jack that's what hurt me the most. He was going to kill me. He had a pocket knife and was willing to slit my throat. What kind of sick person would do that to someone. I mean he was my best friend and now he wanted to kill me.

"Laura I'm really sorry about what happened yesterday"

"Jasper it's okay."

"No it's not okay"

"Yes it is, I'm okay"

"Laura your best friend was willing to kill you"

"He's not my best friend"

"Well your ex-friend"

"Jasper,you have to understand that I've been hurt many of times in my life, and Abigail was the one that caused all this. Also my parents, but she's the one that made my life a living hell. I don't know what I ever did to her."

"I know Laura, I saw you being hurt everyday."

"Then why did you just stand there and laugh along with her?"

I really didn't want to ask that question, but I was just so fed up with the thought of it all it just popped out.

"I didn't want her to think I was a pussy"

"So instead you just watched me suffer"

"No Laura, I always liked you, and I didn't want anyone to know"

"You liked me?"

"Yes"

Jasper admitted he liked me before, this was what I was waiting for. Jasper was the only one that I cared about at this point.

We finally got to the beach and it was a little breezy outside but that was okay. It was a beautiful sight and there wasn't too many people there which I really enjoyed. I'm not a real big people person they kind of make me uncomfortable.

Jasper and I walked Down the beach when this tall dark haired lady showed up. She came right up to Jasper.

"Jasper who is this?"

"My ex"

"Jasper aren't you going to ask how your baby is?" the girl said.

"I thought you said she got an abortion?"

"He lied to you so that he won't get to pay child support."

"Laura I'm so sorry"

"YOU LIED TO ME JASPER, THIS IS A MAJOR SUBJECT YOU COULD LIE ABOUT"

"So you lied to her to Jasper?"

"Laura I'm so sorry"

"I don't want to hear it"

I suddenly walked away from him. I was crying a lot. He said he loved me and he had the guts to lie and tell me that that's girl had an abortion when no, she has his living child.

Jasper came running up to me but I began to run faster. But then all these flashbacks came into mind. Me running away from Abigail and her group. I felt a little woozy. I felt like I was going to faint...
