Goodbyes...?

Everyone had awoken from their sleeps and headed towards the recreation room as some people played pool. We all went over to the coffee shop in the mall to get breakfast. I went with Venus, and while my mom, dad, and Sam all went together, Aunty Stella and Uncle Seth went together.

"So, you enjoying the trip?" I asked Venus as he nodded.
"Yeah, it's nice to get days off of work and hang out with friends. What about you?" He responded. "Yeah, it's been nice, finally getting out of the state," I replied. We had a little moment of silence and just vibing to the music. "So what's it like over where you live?" I wondered.
"Yeah, it's chaos, busy, hectic and just very chaotic, it's popular with marketing," He explained. "What's it like where you live?"
"Yeah, it's boring, not very exciting, there's not much to do, it's more exciting in the city but we only really go there for sunflower seeds" I said describing the place I live in.
"Ah yeah, fair enough," he said.
"Although, someday, I hope to get out of state," I smiled.
"When you turn 18, just walk out, wait no, don't do that, it's cheaper, stay with your family for as long as you can," He suggested.
"Yeah, and I turn 18 in a few months, on the day one raid, which I'm spending my 18th watching you raid," I chuckled.
"You should go out and do something, do something fun, watching a sleep deprived man attempt to raid and possibly end up screaming at some point isn't fun!" Venus recommended. "I don't like going out, besides I think watching you do the day one raid is the best way to spend a birthday!" I giggled.
"You should go out and have dinner with your family. You won't have to talk to anyone," Venus spoke.

After a bit of us chattering, we got to the coffee club. We all ordered our breakfasts, which I just got myself an iced salted caramel latte. Everyone got their meals and started chattering with each other and having different conversations about different things. We all then decided to go check out the golden guitar that was near where we were staying. On our way there, I went with Venus once more for my final car ride with him.

"It was nice meeting you in person," I said to Venus.
"It was great meeting you in person, too!" He replied.
"My spirits were lifted once you came since I was nervous," I stated.
"Yeah, it's like a bandaid. You're nervous about it, but once it comes to it, you're fine, and it's not too bad," Venus explained. "If someone talks to you just pretend you've met them from somewhere once before, like how when people join me on xbox and I don't know who they are, I just pretend I know where I've met them, even though I don't remember" Venus added. "Like I get some people joining me on xbox, but I don't remember them."
"Ohh, isn't that what happened with what's his face?" I asked.
"Who?" He replied.
"Xenix"
"Ohh no, I met him on hive, and we just chatted and added each other to xbox, then he started to join my parties and joined when I was with you guys," Venus answered.
"Yeah, he was that one guy who I went from not knowing who he was to being buddies in seconds," I explained.
"That's because you liked him... And crushes do happen. It's part of life," Venus responded. "Yeah, sadly, it does happen," I sighed.
"Don't worry, you'll find someone someday." Venus said with confidence.
"Yeah, until it's one-sided, although I thought I found the one but anxiety said nope, not allowed," I chuckled.
"Ah yes, onesided, I've been there before, I've been to several weddings and everyone is usually around 30 when they're getting married so my goal is to at least beat that, which is in nine years away" Venus explained. Eventually, we made it to the golden guitar. We were the first ones to make it there. Eventually, we saw everyone pulling up in the car parks.

After everyone got out of the cars and took photos. There were a few group photos that we took before we walked over to the Golden Guitar. Eventually, we all took group photos together. There was a group photo of us all, sibling photo, family photo with mom, dad, Sam, and I. The adults in relationships took 'couple photos' together. "We need one of you two!" Mom said, pointing at me and Venus. We both were fine with it, and we were in a photo together, arms wrapped around each other in a photo. Even though we aren't dating as such since we're just good friends and I do like him though, we're also the only single ones in the group besides my brother, I guess they didn't want us to miss out since we're not in relationships.

After we saw the golden guitar there was a wax museum that we went to that was next door, there was also merchandise for the suburb which I got my very own black and white cap, I thought it was the perfect opportunity due to the fact that I love to collect caps. We went into the part where all the wax and guitars were and took lots of photos. They seemed really interesting, and the history seemed pretty cool. However, it was too much to read, so I didn't read them all.

Later, after we explored the museum, it was the most hardest part apart this trip. Saying goodbye to everyone and giving hugs. I tried to hide back my tears. I hugged Uncle Seth, then Aunty Stella, and afterwards, I hugged Venus. I managed to hold back my tears, but hugging Venus, I almost lost it. I want to be in his arms forever. I feel safe in his arms. I feel safe hugging him. He's my crush. He's one of my safe people. He's where home feels like. He's one of my closest friends. I got into the car and almost broke down. We got back to the caravan park, and I broke down there. Saying goodbye is always the most hardest thing when you want to hang out with them outside of xbox. Tomorrow, we get to leave to go home, although we won't make it home till the day after tomorrow.

After we got back to the caravan park, we all relaxed. A while later, I had to check on Sam, and we had almost finished a game of pool together. We decided to head back to the cabin to relax when I caught my mom and nana looking at places for rent in New South Wales. My dad had said that if we get enough money, we could make this whole moving interstate thing happen.

After a long, busy day, I was looking at photos with mom when Venus and Uncle Seth came online, so we joined a discord call with them and watched them try to do a legend Onslaught. We started to get tired, so mom left the call, and I went to lay on my bed and relax since I had to wake up at 5 am. for a long day of car rides.

One thing I know for sure is that I've never been as happy as I was until I saw him, in person, for the first time.
