Going home

It was 4am when I woke up and got ready to leave the town. I started to load up the car with my stuff and my parents did the same, eventually we all finished putting our stuff in the car. Sam went up to the cabin to finish loading up his stuff since he was going with our nana. We all went to the cars and went off for the drive back home, we arrive home tomorrow though due to spending our last night in another city along the way back. We made a few petrol stops and got ourselves some food and we made some breaks for the dogs. We found an online version of Cards against humanity so no matter how far we are, we can all play the game.

Eventually we had made it to the caravan park that we were staying in for the last night, we got ourselves settled down then i went over to a servo with my parents so we can get dinner there. Everyone got their own things, I got a fruit salad for dinner, since I wasn't feeling very hungry. The group chat kept going off and I looked to see mom, Venus and Uncle Seth were all chatting in there. I made some appearances too. Eventually it was getting late and time for bed.

It was early hours in the morning when we all had awoken from our slumber. We were on our way back home. We crossed the Victoria and New South Wales border. Crossing that border was heartbreaking. We were now in Victoria and we eventually had to say goodbye to nana since she was travelling around and we had Sam with us now.

Eventually after a few hours of driving we crossed the South Australia border and entered the state that made me regret life choices, the state that I've always wished to escape from, the state that makes me feel prisoned. 

One thing for sure is that I got to be someone else for a week, I got to be that genuine happy version of myself. The one who you wouldn't think would be the kind to have any kind of sadness built up in her. The happy friend that everyone likes to be around, the one who sees beauty in life.

Maybe someday I'll be her again? Only time will tell...
