Shivi checks in on me if I am okay for more times than I could count. Each time I send her away promising that I am okay it's just that I am emotional about Khushi calling me chachi.
But a small voice from the back of my mind points at something else too.
Aman is getting married. Why does this bring an unpleasant twinge inside me? I don't want to acknowledge it.
The lunch goes well without any dramas. I have no problem eating food cooked by Shivi. Because I trust her.
I notice Aman staring at me all through the dinner but I don't give him the satisfaction of my attention.
Mia glares at me time to time whenever he ignores her ramblings and directs his stare towards me.
I don't care, I need to talk to Jiju.
Everyone's talking in the main hall while Vihaan Jiju takes Khushi for a bath. I follow him when nobody notices.
I stop him in the hallway, "Jiju?" I call.
He turns surprised and then noticing me his gaze turns concerned, "Are you alright Nitya?" He asks me carrying Khushi in one arm.
My throat works up and down. Should I tell him?
"I-I..." If I want to solve my problem then I should ask his for help. I know he will do anything if Shivi asked him but I can't tell her this.
"Jiju... Can I talk to you?" I muster up the courage atlast.
"Sure. Now?" He asks me.
"No... can I meet you somewhere else?" I ask looking around if someone is noticing me.
"Are you in trouble?" He asks me his eyes turning hard.
"No. No. I... please can we talk somewhere else. Maybe not here." I twist my hands together nervously.
Noticing my near breakdown he relents, "Okay. Meet me at my office tomorrow." He amends, "Do I need to call Shivanya?" He asks noticing my anxiety.
"No. Please. She's busy working already. I just want to talk to you about something." I say to him because I have only 4 days left until the week is over.
Then we agree to meet at his office tomorrow morning and he takes a struggling Khushi for bath.

It's night time when everybody leaves. The only people remaining are Me, Aman & Mia.
I don't want to go home. If I go I'm scared that someone might be lurking in the shadows and jump at me. But I can't stay here either because Shivi would get suspicious.
