Part I takes place throughout seasons 1-3. Starting from around 8 years old to 16 years old by the end of part I.

This story will cover the entire series of Attack on Titan with the rewritten chapters being a little expansion of the lore and trying to implicate my ideas that would fit into that lore.

Quick clarification about the reader's mutism. It will be revealed in the earlier chapters, but the reader has selective mutism or elective mutism (a better term but it's outdated). The reader has the ability to speak but refuses to due to reasons that will be revealed later in the story. But I dropped subtle hints as to why the reader chooses not to talk.

Also, the reader is female, sorry to all my male and NB readers!!

Your story begins within Wall Maria in the shiganshina district. A non-speaking child who can't socialize and rather spend your days inside.

On one particular day, something compelled you to go out.

Comments --- I love reading all of your comments. So please, please, please, comment! I like seeing my readers reactions to my writing and it also helps me strengthen my motivation to become a better writer and continuing writing as a hobby.

Romance --- romance is sadly not the main priority in this book and maybe possible future fanfics. I'm more of building the reader's relationship with the characters overtime rather than just immediately shipping them as endgame. And let's be honest, any romance in AOT is just doomed. The relationships between Y/N and the characters will be for the majority of the book, platonic with romantic moments. Y/N in this fic is the same age as the main characters, so there will be NO romanticizing with the adult characters (because pedophilia is gross and a NO-NO for me).

WARNING: this book will contain spoilers as well as mentions of blood, trauma, PTSD, panic attacks, violence, and every messed-up atrocity that happened in AOT.
