Let's play a game!

"Let's play a game because I've been told that you're single, right?" Ellen looked at Jenna who was sitting in front of her.

She was invited to the Ellen Show to talk about her upcoming series, Wednesday but Ellen being Ellen, had to spice things up a little. Her team came up with a new game idea and Jenna is the first celebrity to play it.

"I am very single" the actress answered and the crowd started to whistle.

"They are cheering your loneliness" Ellen laughed a little. "No, just kidding, there's nothing wrong with being single."

"Absolutely not, I'm finding out more about myself every day" the actress smiled.

"It's important to be single. You have to spend time with yourself to really know who you are, what you want and who you want."

"Exactly, exactly!"

"Alright" clapped Ellen. "We're gonna play the game 'Who would you rather?'"

"Who would I rather what?"

"It is up to you, you know... some you would rather do other things with and some you'd rather do certain things with" the older woman wiggled her eyebrows. "And you can tell us what those things are" Jenna just giggled slightly and playfully shook her head.

"Okay, let's start with two people" and with that, two pictures appeared in front of them on the big screen. "Melissa Barrera or Maddie Ziegler, who'd you rather?

"I'm sorry Melissa but I have to go with Maddie' the brunette looked in to the camera in front of her.

"Don't apologize to her, who cares about her?!" Ellen playfully asked, clearly joking. "Okay, let's see the next round. Maddie Ziegler or Emma Myers"

"Emma."

"Emma or Jer.."

"Emma' Jenna replied before the host could even finish her question.

"Emma or Scarlett Johansson? I have a feeling we're going to say Emma. It's going to be hard to compete with her."

"I love Scarlett with my whole heart but I have to say Emma."

"Emma it is. Let's see who's next. Emma or Y/N Y/L/N?"

"Y/N Y/L/N."

"What?" Ellen laughed slightly surprised that you beat Emma.

"I don't know. I love her music and I think she's an amazing singer. Not to mention how beautiful and charismatic she is."

"Someone really does have a crush on Y/N, okay" the older woman teased Jenna with a smile on her face. "Y/N or Taylor Swift?"

"Y/N."

"Y/N or Mia Goth?"

"Y/N" Jenna blushed. She knew deep down that no one will beat you in this game but she kept on playing.

"Who's the next one? There's no one else?" Ellen asked and waited a few seconds and stated; "Looks like Y/N is our winner tonight everyone! Do you know her in real life?"

"No, I've never met her. Y/N! If you see this, call me" Jenna formed a phone with her right hand and winked to the camera.

"Looks like it's your lucky day, Love" Ellen smirked. "Y/N is a great friend of mine, I'll call her for you" and with that, the host reached for her phone which was in her back pocket.

"No, please, don't do that, I was just kidding" the actress tried to protest but Ellen had already dialed the singer's number. "I'm not kidding, I have super bad social anxiety. Don't do this to me!" she tried once again but unfortunately, she heard your greeting voice on the other end of the phone. "Oh God, no. Please hang up" she mouthed but it was no use.

"Y/N, hi! I was just wondering, are you single at the moment?" Ellen asked without thinking.

"What? Wow, okay. That was very straightforward, even from you, DeGeneres" you chuckled.

"Asking for a friend, I'm serious. Are you single?" the host asked again.

"I am."

"Currently talking to someone?"

"Am not" you answered.

"That's awesome! I have a friend, we're filming a part for my show and I just found out she has a big fat crush on you!"

"Kill me now" Jenna looked at the audience blushing and covering her face right away with one of the pillows from the couch.

"Happens with the best of us" you smiled to yourself. "Who's this friend of yours, Ellen?"

"Don't tell her, I'll never be able to look in her eyes ever again" Jenna protested again.

"Don't worry, darling! Ellen is a go-getter, I know you're probably forced to do that right now but I'm here for it. Your voice is familiar but I can't put a finger on where from" you were pretty curious at this point who the mysterious woman was.

"I'll give you a hint" Ellen said. "She's an upcoming actress, also starred in one of the most famous horror movie series, Scream and she plays the main character in the new Netflix series that is connected to the Addams family. She's also super sweet, talented and has amazing humor."

"Maybe you should date her, you seem head over heels for her" you joked. "Okay, to tell the truth, I'm not a big Scream fan but my mom loves those movies and sometimes she makes me watch them. She adores the younger Carpenter girl and luckily, I saw the Wednesday trailer on Netflix the other day. I'm pretty sure we're talking about the short brunette, I'm so sorry but I can't remember her name."

"To help you with that part, the name's Jenna Ortega. Plus, you should definitely trust your mom's opinion on people!"

"Uhm, she married my dad, so..." you giggled. "I'm totally kidding, I bet Jenna is awesome" you were well aware that the actress hears everything you say, so you tried to stay as professional as you could.

"She is awesome, yes but you should make sure yourself. Is there any chance you're in LA?"

"I'm in LA, actually. I'm having a small acoustic music night tonight" you smiled, already excited for the evening.

"Wonderful! You should totally send me the address, I'll pass it to Jenna, how about that?"

"Since when are you hosting a match making show, huh?" you laughed.

"I'm just trying to be nice for once!" Ellen replied.

"Listen, I have to go, I'm so sorry but I'll see you around soon" you said and hung up without saying anything else.

"I don't know what's worse" Jenna started. "You, actually doing this or her, knowing I'm a SHORT brunette but not my name.'

"I can't believe she hung up" Ellen scoffed.

"She got way better things to do" Jenna shrugged, trying to forget about the embarrassing situation.

The 66 years old host was about to say something else when she got a text message. She looked down at her phone and when she saw the sender's name, she smiled. Ellen opened the message and the smile on her face grew even bigger, if that was possible.

Y/N Y/L/N (5:21pm)

'let's see if the addams girlie really is as awesome as my mom says. text her my address and tell her I owe her a glass of her choice for making you her personal tinder.' 

Ellen read the text out loud.

"I love this girl" she chuckled and looked at Jenna whose face was as red as a tomato. "And you'll say the same very soon, trust me!" she winked.
