Ship: Gaon x Jooyeon

Jiseok went up to his friends, luckily for him Jooyeon wasn't around; since he wanted to talk about the younger boy, in a way that he wasn't quite sure he'd like.

"Guys!" He exclaimed the second he sat at the table. The four that were already at the table looked, they didn't want to hear what Jiseok was going to ramble on about.

"Jooyeon, you know him right?" It was a very stupid question, as of course they knew him. Most of the time, the group of six would hang out together.

Jungsu, Seungmin and Hyeongjun stared at him in silence. Not understanding where he was going with this. Gunil, with his mouth left open, in silence. He just nodded. Jiseok paused for a couple of seconds. He wanted to word things correctly.

"I want him as my boyfriend" Clearly, he could've found better ways to express himself. The four looked at each other for a couple of seconds, before bursting out in laughter.

"I called it!" Gunil exclaimed, high fiving Seungmin who was across from him. Jungsu laughed and rolled his eyes playfully. Jiseok was left confused, just watching the scene unfold.

"I want my ice tea now!" Gunil exclaimed, Jungsu rolled his eyes and stood up. He went over to the vending machine, Jiseok scoffed; he couldn't believe that his friends bet on his love life. He wasn't exactly sure on what they had bet on, but it wasn't the nicest thing.

After the chatter died down between them, Jiseok was going to ask for a plan, on how to ask him out.

"Just say, hey, I wanna be your boyfriend"  Seungmin stated, that's what he would've done. Jiseok furrowed his brows before shaking his head.

"There's no way I'm doing that!" Jiseok exclaimed, his eyes flickered towards the boy approaching. Lee Jooyeon. He sat next to Seungmin and smiled at him.

"What were you talking about?" He asked, Jiseok turned bright red and Gunil noticed that.

"Jiseok's huge crush on you and how to confess to you" Seungmin let out without thinking. Jiseok's mouth was left hanging open, staring at him. He was completely frozen. Jooyeon was also extremely shocked after hearing that.

"Fuck" Seungmin muttered, after a couple of seconds, Jiseok mover behind him and slapped the back of his head.

"Apology with tears right now!" He practically demanded, in a slight comedic tone. Seungmin felt extremely bad for revealing his secret by accident.

"Well at least you don't have to confess now" Gunil tried to make the atmosphere better with a tiny bit of comedy. The boys just rolled their eyes at him.

"Well what now?" Jungsu asked, looking at Jooyeon, he knew he had to give an answer. But he wasn't able to think very clearly in this specific moment. He just found out that his best friend liked him in a romantic way, and he didn't know how to feel about it.

"Can we talk — just the both of us?" He asked after a minute of awkward silence. Jiseok slowly nodded and followed him to an empty part of the school yard.

They sat down on the floor and looked at each other for about ten seconds; not breaking eye contact at all.

"If you don't want to be best friends anymore then it's fine, I completely understand, it was an honour being friends with you." Jiseok let out, his emotions were obviously taking over any rational thoughts he could have.

Jooyeon put his finger on his lips to make him stop since he wouldn't stop rambling. Jiseok looked down at his finger and blushed furiously.

"We can try.. to be.. boyfriends. If it doesn't work out then," Jooyeon started he was still thinking about what to say. "We stay as best friends — with some feelings" He chuckled and stood up. He helped Jiseok up by sticking his hand out.

"So we're boyfriends?" He asked, shyly interlocking fingers with Jooyeon. He dragged him over to the table where their friends were. While walking over, after a couple of seconds, the younger boy realised he still hadn't answered Jiseok's question.

"Yeah, yeah we are"
