You stood and stretched, reaching over and grabbing a coat hanging on the back of your door. You then slid it on and swung open your doors, prancing down the stair with rhythmic steps.
Once you were downstairs you swung around and poke your head into the living room, glancing around for your mom.
Spotting her on the couch you smiled. "Mom! I'm going to the dock okay?"
"Alrighty dear, stay safe."
And with that you whooshed out the door, hopping on your bike and trekking down the street. Your ponytail whipped around behind you as you gained speed, and you brushed your h/c bangs out of your face.
You smiled and made your way down the streets and turns of your small town, onto a familiar dirt road.
After a minute you slowed down, dismounting your trusty bike and walking onto the old dock. It's boards creaked as you took your steps.
You sighed, taking in the salty breath of the ocean, and memories came back to you.
Your dad use to take you here when you were little. The both of you went fishing and swam here all the time.
You sat down and took off your shoes, kicking your feet a bit in the water. This was the only place you could really relax.
Slicing through your thoughts, there was a sudden splash and a yelp.
There wasn't suppose to be any other people here! This dock was isolated from everyone else's for at least a fourth of a mile!
"Hey you! Wwhat the evver livvin' fuck are you doing just sittin' there and starin'! Help me noww!" A voice hissed. You looked down in the water and shrieked, jumping to your feet and taking a step back.
A..a person, or, whatever the fuck it is was standing knee deep in the shallow waters. His skin was gray, he had fish like fins on the side of his face, and a pair of zig-zag, candy corn colored horns on his head. His hair was black with a patch of violet. The waves lapped at the back of his knees.
His clothes were drenched, and the collar of his violet cape drooped sadly.
A nasty scowl with a matching yellow glare was written across his fish looking face. He waited for an answer. "Wwell? Are you done bein' a little wimp?" He snapped.
"Who the hell are you!"
"Hey, you get me the fuck out of here noww and I'll consider your question, lowwblooded human."
"Fine!" You kicked the ladder down into the water, backing away as he got up. He brushed away the few strands of bangs in his face, continuing to snarl at you.
"Wwhat? Nevver seen a handsome troll before?" He scoffed.
"If you're considered handsome that's kinda sad!" You retorted. "Now tell me who you are!"
The troll looked offended, then sighed and rolled his eyes. "Fuckin' assblood doesn't know royalty when she sees it." He muttered under his breath, and then took a stance, a hand on his chest. "My name is Eridan Ampora. Royal prince where I come from. You should stand in awwe, human, I'm your god."
You just looked at him like he was insane. "Yeah, uh-huh."
"Shut up! I am seriously so much better than you ever will be!"
The both of your glares locked for a few minutes before he turned away. His clothes seemed dry now surprisingly. "Anywway. Enough of this damn time wwastin' wwith you. Howw the fuck did I get here."
You shrugged. But knew this was going to be an really insane adventure.
