After lunch no Thi I went home, I found uMa in the kitchen cooking dinner she looked at me and squirt her eyes
Ma: Ubuyaphi Thingo
Me: ngibuya e mall noThi besizikhipile ngoba so passile
Ma:Aww manje likhepi e report
I took both my report and award ceremony invitation out of my bag and gave it to her, she first gave me an inquisitive look and was a bit skeptical to take the envelopes but she eventually did. When she opened my report her eyes glisten with appreciation she then started ululating
Ma: Aww Jesu Ingane ka bani le alilililili ngiyabonga mntwanami
So here's the thing about my mother she is not like my dad who only wants to see me get married, she wants to see me graduate and being independent but then the problem is she is a Zulu Submissive wife that's the way she was natured, to be a wife who doesn't go against her husband so she has no choice but to listen to UbabaUMa later called Nkosenye and Mthokozisi to tell them the news they actually do not care but pretend to be happy for me in order to make Uma happy.
Ma: Thingo!
That's ma calling me from the sitting room, I quickly go to her and I find her sitting with ubaba
Me: Sanibonani bantu abadala
Baba: yebo Thingo ngizwe Uma wakho e khuluma ngomcimbi waksasa e sekolene sakho
Me: yebo baba kukhona umcimbi ksasa esekolene
Baba : oho asikho isdingo sokhuti uye angisho
Me: sikhona baba
Ma: Baba ngicela ukuhamba naye
Baba: kodwa asikho isdingo ngoba oThingo kumele athole umuntu azoshada naye hayi lo msagano we sekolo
Ma: kepha ngiyakucela babakhe
Baba : okay ningahamba kulamanyala enu
Mind you that baba has a soft spot for Uma she is basically his heartThe next Morning I woke up to Uma rejoicing wearing her best outfit with was a purple gingermary bodycon two piece with a lavender fascinator. I obviously wore my uniform and topped it off with a blazer, some of you may ask how do I afford to have a blazer because it apparently costs a fortune.. Well I'm from a very rich family, my father is a businessman living in the rural areas, my mother is a stay at home chartered accountant, my brother Nkosenye is a well known urologist, well Mthokozisi is civil engineer but also a part time dj. Although I'm from a rich family they prefer living a simple life but my mother still buys herself expensive stuff she says it's her hard earned money. Back to today ma walked into the sitting room and baba's eyes widen up and his mouth dropped open. Ma twirled for him and started laughing.
Ma:how do I look
Baba : Amazing Mkami
Baba : is it necessary for you to go to the that thing ngoba number one you look to Gorgeous and number two kuyafana uThingo doesn't need to be rewarded for working hard at school, she doesn't even need school all she needs is a good husband
