Prologue

Totoo ba ang lahat ng ito? Did I really travel back in time? But how? It doesn't make sense.

But I am certain that what transpired in the past two years indeed happened.

When I searched for TechPrint's information, it seamlessly matched my existing knowledge, even providing detailed specifics about VMC.

I'm convinced that I journeyed back in time, just one month prior to my boss orchestrating my downfall.

This is my chance to change my fate. Thank you Lord, hindi ko sasayangin ang pagkakataong ito na binigay mo sa akin.

The following day, I returned to work and carried on as usual.

"Sana all, target every month." Panunuko ni Bryan isa sa mga kasamahan ko sa team.

"Target ka din naman ah?! Pahumble pa ito!" Ganting tukso ko.

Sa totoo lang magagaling ang mga kasamahan ko sa team, minalas lang talaga kami sa boss. Kaya nga winiwish naming lahat na sana totoo ang chismis na gustong kunin ni Levi ang team namin.

May usap-usapan kasi na may bagong product na kukunin ang company at ipapahawak iyon sa boss namin kaya ang buong team namin ay malilipat sa team ni Levi.

Si Levi daw mismo ang nag request nito sa mga executives.

Ito rin ang dahilan kung bakit karibal ang turing ng boss namin kay Levi.

"Have you heard the news? Levi wants you all on his team." My boss said.

This scene is etched in my memory. I anticipate his next move: asking for the opinion of each one of us.

"What's your stance on the issue? Are you interested in being on Levi's team?" His inquiry mirrored my memory with precision.

Then, it will be my turn.

"Elle, are you okay with the idea of joining Levi's team?"

"I'm fine with anyone." I answered.

Once more, I echoed my previous reply, fully aware it wouldn't earn his favor. Yet, I held no desire to cater to his whims, especially knowing he was the one who wrecked my life.

Sumimangot ito at tinanong ang iba ko pang kasamahan.

"Syempre boss hindi. Ikaw pa din ang gusto namin." Sagot ni Cindy.

Ganoon din ang naging sagot ng ibang kasamahan namin. Kaya naman kahit papaano ay nabawasan ang inis nito.

"Elle, bat naman ganun ang naging sagot mo kanina?" Tanong ni Cindy.

I rolled my eyes. "I'm just telling the truth. Tsaka safe naman yung sagot ko. Hindi ko naman sinabi na si Levi yung mas gusto ko kesa sa kanya."

"Kami din naman mas gusto namin si Sir Levi, pero kilala mo naman yung si boss, ang laki ng inggit kay Sir Levi. Palibhasa eh mas magaling sa kanya, kaya ayun insecure." Si Bryan.

"True! Tsaka balita namin ayaw ni boss na si Sir Levi ang humawak sa team natin. Ibang manager ang gusto niyang humawak satin." Sabi ni Cindy.

"He's scared that if our sales improve under Sir Levi's leadership, it will expose just how incompetent he is as a manager," Jessica remarked.

"Kaya dapat hindi yun ang sinagot mo kanina, Elle. Paano pag pinag initan ka ni boss?" Ramdam ko nag pag aalala sa boses ni Kyla.

"I won't let him," I said, the memory of what he had done to me in the past still fresh in my mind.

My boss summoned me to his office, and I had a pretty good idea why.

He handed me a folder, and as I opened it, the name "Blue WireTech" greeted me.

A sly grin spread across my face, for I knew what was to come. This was the account destined for financial ruin next month—the same account my boss had cunningly manipulated to implicate me.
