Ch 4

Luffy took Yami's hand and they ran towards Makino's , who was smiling warmly at them , and entered her bar .

They sat next to each other and began eating. Suddenly, Yami received a message from his system Kai , informing him than Shanks' ship would soon be arriving at the island.
Excitement and fear welled up within Yami as he realised he would soon meet his favourite character in reality.
His heart pounded so fast that he was convinced Luffy , sitting beside him, could hear it . Overwhelmed, Yami decided to run away, telling makino that he was going to the forest to play , while Luffy asked her for more food and assured Yami that he would join him after finishing his meal.

Yami fled to the forest to catch his breath, which was in sync with his racing heart. Alone amidst the trees, he couldn't help but miss his sister and feel a profound sense of loneliness, wondering what she was doing now that she knew that he was dead . To ease his emotions, Yami began singing a song that he used to sing to her when they were alone . This song was "supermarket flowers" by Ed sheeran .

Lost in his performance, Yami wan unaware of the two individuals who had stumbled upon him and were captivated by his beautiful and ethereal voice.

As Yami neared the end of his song, he heard Luffy's voice calling out for him . Luffy expressed awe at Yami's amazing voice, confessing that he had no idea until now. Yami blushed furiously, but then he heard a hearty laugh.
He turned his gaze and saw shanks, the person he had been avoiding because he knew that shanks recognised him as his soulmate . Yami wanted to run away, but Luffy held his hand firmly and smiled, introducing him to shanks .

" Yami , this is shanks , shanks meet Yami he is my friend " Luffy said with a wide grin .

It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Yami ," shanks said, his smile radiating warmth.

Yami , feeling incredibly nervous, managed a smile and replied, " yes , nice to meet you too, shanks ".

After some time, we all found ourselves in makino's bar . I sat next to Luffy, who was also seated next to shanks.
Shanks and his crew began regaling us with stories of their adventures, filling the air with excitement.
Meanwhile, I quietly worked on a drawing of shanks' eye , engrossed in capturing its essence.

As Shanks started drinking and Luffy moved to sit with Ben to continue the stories, I remained focused on my artwork. However , out of the corner my eye , I noticed Shanks trying to catch a glimpse of what i was drawing. Curiosity getting the better of him, he decided to join me.

" Hmm what are you doing, Yami ? Or should I call you alpha ?" Shanks inquired with a playful smirk.

I couldn't find my voice, feeling a wave of embarrassment wash over me . Shanks noticed the paper i was working on and his eyes widened in recognition.

" ohh, i see . You were drawing my eyes. That's quite cute ", shanks remarked , his expression softening.

Blushing furiously, I covered my face with shame , unable to meet his gaze. " T-thanks ," I managed to stammer out, my voice barely audible.

As I continued to draw , shanks leaned in closer, his curiosity piqued. He observed each stroke of my pencil with genuine interest, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

"You have a quite the talent, Yami," Shanks complimented, his voice filled with genuine admiration " your attention to detail is remarkable."

I felt a mix of pride and nervousness at his words, unsure of how to respond. Shank's presence was overwhelming, and his praise only intensified my self-consciousness.

"Thank you Shanks ," I managed to reply, my voice still quivering with a hint of shyness. " I've been admiring your character and wanted to capture your essence in this drawing ."

Shanks chuckles warmly and placed a hand on my cheek, a gesture that both surprised and comforted me . "Well , you've certainly captured my essence, Yami . Your art is a testament to your talent and creativity."

His words filled me with a sense of validation and encouragement. Despite my initial appreciation, shanks' friendly demeanour put me at ease. I began to feel a genuine connection forming between us , one that surpassed the boundaries of fan and character.

As we sat there, engrossed in conversation about art and our shared love for adventures , I couldn't help but feel a growing bond with shanks . The barriers that I had initially built to protect myself started to crumble, and I allowed myself to embrace the possibility of being able to find a true friend .

Little did I know that this encounter with Shanks would mark the beginning of an extraordinary journey, one where dreams and reality intertwined.
