MAIN LEAD
Amrithashree Srinivasan (Ammu)
Ammu is a content writer by profession, a travel blogger on the side, and a passionate travel enthusiast who travels like a true vagabond. She is a strong follower/devotee of Lord Krishna and visits ISKCON compulsorily twice a week. She is learning Japanese and is on the last level, with aspirations to settle in Singapore or Japan, following in the footsteps of her idol, her uncle Mr. Subramanian aka her Mani uncle. Although she hasn't formally trained in music, she possesses a beautiful voice and sings wonderfully—something Samarth deeply appreciates. Ammu is also a culinary enthusiast and a brilliant cook. She maintains a stoic and civil demeanor around Ashwathy and Sejal for Samarth's sake, despite not feeling comfortable with them. She shares a complicated situationship with Ashwin.
Samarth Raghavan Mehta ( Sam )
Samarth is a businessman by profession and is soon going to take over as CEO of his father's business. He is a trained Hindustani classical singer, just like his younger sister Sejal (one year younger than him ) and his cousins Ashwin ( Same age as him ) and Ashwathy (same age as Sejal). The four share a strong bond and are the closest of friends. Samarth is also a trained football and cricket player, with a fitness level that adds to his debonair persona. A devoted ISKCON follower and Krishna devotee, much like his best friend Ammu, Samarth has deep, unacknowledged feelings for Ammu. However, he is dating Kriti, his dad's business partner's daughter, under the belief that he is attracted to her. Despite his Gujarati heritage (paternal side), he embraces his dual cultural background proudly, maintaining the surname "Raghavan Mehta," and is more of Madrasi at heart inside out, thanks to his mama's (mother's brother aka maternal uncle) influence and mom's influence and being surrounded more by his maternal family while growing up.

Ashwin Venkat Raghavan (Ash)
Ashwin is Samarth's first cousin and Ammu's complicated love interest. A family friend, Ashwin shares a deep bond with Samarth and the rest of the family.
Kriti Kanan (Krits)
One of Samarth's dad's business partner's daughter, Kriti is a nice girl at heart and a talented Carnatic and Western classical singer, which makes her a perfect fit for Samarth's lifestyle. She is working with her dad, eventually taking over family business. She vibes well with Samarth and shares a modern outlook. She is close friends with Ashwathy and Sejal, who love her and support her relationship with Samarth. Kriti shares the same opinion about Ammu as Ashwathy after meeting her.
Sejal Mehta
Sejal is Samarth's younger sister, a trained Hindustani classical singer like her brother and cousins. She has a good heart but dislikes Ammu for being too simple and plain, not as trendy and cool as she prefers. Sejal is a total Gujju despite being half Tamilian. She is close to Kriti and supports her relationship with Samarth, viewing Ammu's presence as a threat.
Ashwathy Venkat Raghavan (Ashy)
Ashwathy is Ashwin's sister and Samarth's close cousin. She is neutral but tends to agree with Sejal. She supports Sejal's views and doesn't like Ammu hanging around with Samarth, suspecting her of seeking attention from both Samarth and Ashwin.
Chinmay Sharma
Chinmay is Samarth's best friend out of the six guys in their group. He is unaware of Samarth's feelings for Ammu and believes Samarth loves Kriti, often encouraging their relationship. Chinmay loves Ammu like a sister and has great respect for her. He discreetly criticizes Sejal and Ashwathy for their poor behavior towards Ammu. He is a gem of a person. He is the CMO of Mr Subramanian's company and is engaged to his daughter Shruti who is the COO of her father's company and working together made them eventually get to know and fall for each other. Both Shruti & Chinmay love Sam & Ammu dearly.
Supporting Characters
Jai Srinivasan
Ammu's father, Jai, is a renowned businessman in Mumbai and a business partner and best friend of Samarth's father. He is a loving, generous, and kind-hearted man.
Leela Srinivasan
Ammu's mother, Leela, is a housewife who embodies warmth, generosity, and kindness. She is a strong willed person who no one can mess with.
Namrata Srinivasan Iyer
Ammu's older sister, Namrata, is a corporate lawyer working for HDFC. She is a dare devil, charming, slightly hot headed at times yet incredibly loving and generous, much like the rest of her family.
Tarun Iyer
Namrata's husband and Ammu's brother-in-law, Tarun, holds a high post at Fisdom, working in mutual funds sector. Helps out his father in law with certain matters at times. He is a loving, kind-hearted, and generous person and is often teased by the rest of the family by saying that he is the 'long lost son of Jai' as both of them are very similar in so many ways.
Venkat Raghavan Mahadevan
Ashwin & Ashwathy's father, Venkat is Samarth's maternal uncle (mama) and like a godfather to him. A taskmaster and a dominant highly disciplined man, a man of principles, a wonderful human being. He is also one of Samarth's strongest influences, especially in music. Created the 'The Family Crescendo' band which consists of his wife & kids and his nephew and niece Samarth, Sejal and his sister Usha. He is the managing director of Canon Singapore Pte Ltd and a singer by passion.
Priya Venkat Raghavan
Ashwin & Ashwathy's mother and Ammu's godmother, Priya, knows Ammu inside out and provides guidance and support in her life. She is a Carnatic music teacher.
Mr. Subramanian (Mani)
A close friend and business partner of Jai and Dharmesh, Mr. Subramanian is also a significant influence in Ammu's life, inspiring her aspirations to settle abroad. Highly respected, affluent and well known businessman of Singapore. Samarth and his family's neighbour.
Gayatri Iyer
Ammu & Dhwani's best friend, Gayatri, is always there for her and supports her through all her ups and downs. She has a tight grasp over reality. Based in Mumbai.
Dhwani Rambhia
Ammu and Gayatri's best friend, Samarth's first cousin (paternal), Dharmesh's niece (sister's daughter) Dhwani provides a constant source of support and companionship for Ammu & Gayatri. She is also close to Samarth & loathes Ashwathy and Sejal for mistreating Ammu & dislikes Ashwin for oscillating with her. Based in Mumbai.
Dharmesh Mehta
Samarth's father, Dharmesh, is a successful businessman and one of Jai's closest friends and business partners. A man of principles and morals, he is another gem of a person despite portraying a harsh exterior outside.
Usha Raghavan Mehta
Samarth's mother, Usha, comes from a musical family and has instilled a love of music in her children. She herself is a trained & passionate singer and loving caring homemaker. A wise and wonderful woman. She off-late has started to teach Carnatic music along with her sister in law, Priya.
Other characters will be introduced in the story as per requirement and the progress of the story.
