I shake my head, desperately searching for any hope left. "No... No..."

"I-I..." I stammer over my words. "I did this...?"
(*$%&*&# nods slowly with a smirk of satisfaction, yet fired by despair. "Yes. The 79th Class's contribution to the biggest, most awful, most tragic event in human history was orchestrated by... *&$^& *&$^*&#!"
I'm at a loss for words... I've caused this... I've caused all of this... Everything slowly shifts to red...It's all my fault. I've caused everyone suffering here. I caused everyone's misery and despair. There's nothing I can do to make up for anything I've done. I've led everyone down the wrong path. My surroundings are immersed in red. It's starting to spin. Is this... Is this what despair feels like?
Everyone's muffled shouts ring through my head. I even hear the deceased voices. Theirs are towering over those who are alive... Are they alive? They're telling me how much of a failure and despair-inducing person I am. They're right... I've caused this.
"*$&*4! Look at me!" Someone calls out to me, catching my attention. I don't move, but I know they're talking to me. "It's not your fault."

The voices fade, but the low humming of something rings as if it's directly in my ear. It is in my ear. I groan. My thoughts are cloudy, I can't even remember what I had just seen or dreamed. My eyelids are too heavy for me to open. Everything's heavy and sore. I can't move... But, I have my other senses.
