Chloe Marksman sat on the edge of a tall building, gazing upon the starry night sky above her, as if longing for something, her blonde hair flowing in the wind, the cold air brushing against her skin.

Another blonde female wearing a long leather coat, gloves, boots, and a mask covering her mouth approached her from behind "Chloe. I've found them" Chloe then looked behind her and stood up "Let's get started"

They the landed on one of the cars involved in a kidnapping scheme. Using an earpiece, the long coated female was able to listen in on what the driver and passenger were saying "Seriously? Kidnapping Steffy's son?! You know what that kid's grandmother would do to us if she found out?!"

Another voice spoke "Boss says it's the only way to get a huge amount of money from them, especially considering the kid's big sister doesn't want anything to do with 'em at the moment" The first person who spoke, who seemed to be the passenger, sighed in defeat

"If we kidnapped the girl instead, we wouldn't be in that maniac's crosshairs" The second speaker, who was most likely the driver spoke louder "If we kidnapped her instead, we'd have to deal with Hope Logan. That girl was once seen taking down multiple people attacking her and Sally in under a minute!"

The passenger groaned in annoyance "I know, I saw it on the news last week!" The driver then raised his voice further "Then you know why going to kidnap Kelly is stupid idea! Sheila Carter is easier to deal with than a martial arts Hogan!"

On top of the car, Chloe spoke "Janet, are you sure they're going to the place?" Janet nodded "We'll need to hide. When it's time, I'll give the signal" After a few more minutes, the car stopped at an abandoned warehouse. Chloe and Janet quickly hid whilst the men got out of the car

One of them went to the boot and opened it, revealing an unconscious 13-year-old boy. He picked him up and carried him into the warehouse, the other man opening the door. They tied him to a chair as more and more men entered the building

Chloe and Janet managed to sneak in through a vent, staying out of sight, surveying the scene from above. Janet looked at the men with hatred and disgust, whilst Chloe was worried for the boy. No one should go through such a thing at such a young age

"There's a lot of them, Janet. What do we do?" She asked, concern in her voice. Janet took a breath "We take out the power, then you get that kid to safety. I'll deal with the guards" Chloe looked at Janet with concern "Are you sure?"

Janet gave her a piercing look "I'm more skilled than you, I can handle them. Focus on the teen" Chloe nodded. The men saw the boy stirring awake. He slowly opened his eyes and noticed he was in a warehouse

He went to sit up, only to find his hands bound, and strapped to a chair. He looked at the men standing before him "Who are you? What are you doing with me?" One of the men laughed sadistically, catching the rest of the men's attention

He wore a black blazer suit, a white button up shirt, black suit pants, and formal shoes, his black hair slicked back and his grin menacing "So this is the grandson of Sheila Carter herself. The psycho bitch who killed my cousin, Lance"

The boy looked scared "Where am I? What is this place?! Why am I here?" The man walked closer to the boy, bending down so they were eye-level "You're in a place where no one can hear me make you pay the price for what your grandma did"

He then brought out a bat from behind his back "Do you know the name 'Sheila Carter?' The boy was shocked "Are you... are you working for her?" The man held the bat firmly in his hand, his henchman standing at his sides, holding pipes

"Quite the opposite, kid. We're actually planning to make her experience far worse than what she made me experience. We don't usually hurt children but..." He looked at his henchman, then back to the boy "Well, in your case' we're willing to make an exception"
