Jeongin arrived much later than Jiho expected for just getting his son out of bed, which made him wonder what state Minho was in when he was woken up. He waved his guard further away as Jeongin approached.

When he bowed before him, he asked, "Is my son awake?"

"Yes, my King."

But a quick yes didn't satisfy Jiho.

"And?" he pressed.

Jeongin clasped his hands together, sparing a glance at the nearby guard to make sure he was far enough away. His gaze then dropped to the floor and he cringed slightly at his next words. "And... so is Jisung, sire," he said quietly.

Jiho sighed. That confirmed any lasting suspicions. Even after personally catching his son with his lover, that hadn't stopped the two from sleeping together afterward. He hoped Minho would get this out of his system and fast. Their need for each other constantly was getting ridiculous and wouldn't stay a secret for long with the rate they were going at it.

He wondered just what Jeongin had walked in on that morning to make the young man cringe at the very memory of it. Then Jiho quickly backstepped from imagining his son with that squirrel of a boy. He really didn't need to know the details of what those two did together.

"Your discretion is admirable," he said. "I expect it to continue."

Jeongin's shoulders visibly relaxed, probably in relief that Jiho wasn't going to force him to explain what he saw that morning in explicit detail. He guessed it would be awkward for the both of them to have this sort of conversation.

"Is there anything else I can do for you, my King?"

"Not at the moment. You may return to Felix," Jiho dismissed.

Jeongin bowed again before slipping from the room as fast as possible. It was becoming a habit and he didn't like the thought of that.

Jiho watched and hoped Felix's manservant wasn't a gossip. He had enough faith to trust Jeongin with this because of how he handled Felix's nightmares. But only time would tell, he guessed. Eventually, the secret would get out, though he hoped that it wouldn't until after his son was married.

And Jiho was planning to make sure that happened sooner rather than later.

"Better late than never," Minho commented as Jisung skidded to a halt beside him after nearly tripping down the stairs to meet them in the courtyard.

"Apologies, sire," Jisung said with a grin, panting from all that running to try and make it on time. His eyes flicked to Jiho, who was frowning at them. Again. It was becoming a regular occurrence whenever he and the king were in the same space together.
