The students were currently on their summer break, getting a much deserved vacation from their studies. Some students were off studying hard at schools for their upcoming tests. Meanwhile, there were other students who decided to enjoy the summer vacation and have some fun before their studies continued. Some students were even currently in the school, studying hard to get their grades up from their recent exams.

In one of the classrooms in the school, there was a girl who was working hard on studying for her upcoming exams. Her name was Hikaru Suzuki, a shy, quiet, introverted girl. She was average height, with long, straight, brown hair braided down her shoulders that currently ended at her mid-back, and she had big, round, brown eyes. She had fairly light skin, as well as a pretty slim, petite figure.

She sighed, leaning on her desk as her eyes became heavy and tired. The sun was about to set soon, the long, exhausting, hot, tiring summer day was about to come to an end. The quiet, peaceful classroom had no other person in it other than her. All the other students had already left the school for the day. The lights were off in the room, the only light source being her desk lamp illuminating the dark area. The only source of sound in the room was the sound of crickets chirping from outside.

She closed her eyes, letting the warm, pleasant, comforting summer breeze breeze through the room, gently caressing her skin and cooling her off. A small, pleasant, gentle smile formed on her face, as she started to relax and enjoy the calming, relaxing atmosphere, and her eyes slowly lulling down into a state of sleep.

Hikaru was about to drift off into sleep, when she suddenly woke up with a startle. She could have sworn she heard something, possibly someone outside. With a tired and curious expression, she sat up and glanced around nervously at the classroom, her heart beating loudly in her ears and her breathing coming out as shaky gasps.

The dark classroom was eerily quiet, the only sounds that she could hear coming from the crickets chirping outside. The sound of the air conditioning humming softly as well, as it attempted to cool the sweltering hot, humid summer air. Everything seemed and appeared normal, at least from what her tired exhausted eyes could see, the lights being turned off and everything being covered in pitch black darkness. However, she could have sworn again she heard something

She felt her heartbeat increase in pace once again nervously, she sat there silently, attempting to hear any and all sounds that could be heard in or around the classroom. At first, she could only hear the sounds of the cicadas outside as they chirped loudly. However, that was not what she was interested in, there was a much, much more quieter and strange sound that she could hear coming from the classroom, possibly from the far corner.

However, that was not what she was interested in, there was a much, much more quieter and strange sound that she could hear coming from outside of the classroom.

She heard another quiet sound come from the very corner of the classroom once again, coming from what seemed it must have been the closet located there. She held her breath, her heartbeat picking up at a more fast pace as she suddenly felt quite alarmed. She quickly reached over on her desk, clicking the desk lamp off turning off the light source.

She sat there silently, as her hands grasped her desk chair in a death grip as her breathing became heavy. There was another strange, mysterious, ominous noise that came in once again the same direction, this had to come from an actual humanoid because she definitely heard someone's footsteps, but they sounded eerily wrong, they were almost inhuman. The only light source now came from the summer moonlight streaming in through the window.
