Will rummaged through closets to find something he could wear to the costume party. Eventually, he pulled out a white sheet. He dragged it across the house while looking for scissors. Joyce was at work and Jonathan was probably with Nancy. He swung open the door to a kitchen cabinet and saw a pair of scissors. He grabbed the sheet and began cutting it to make two holes for the eyes. He put it over his head, this would be perfect. He took it off to find his shoes and put them on before putting the sheet back on. He walked out the front door and closed it with his mind. After a while of searching, he found it. He stood outside the front and heard loud music. He took a deep breath preparing himself before walking in.

As he walked inside he saw many people dancing and drinking. He walked past a charcuterie board and stared at it for a second before looking around and stuffing bits of food under the sheet. He heard laughing from a distance but the laughing grew closer. He looked back and saw a boy and girl. The boy had his arm around the girl. "Okay, kid. What are you supposed to be? Were you even invited here?" He laughed, his words slurred from the alcohol but Will had never heard of alcohol.

"Ghost." He manages to say. "You should get out of here kid. What are you? Ten?" He asked, chuckling with his laughing girlfriend.

The guy took the sheet and just as he was about to take it off, Will let out an ear piercing scream. "What the fuck man?!" He exclaimed when he suddenly fell to the floor. He screamed. "MY ARMS BROKEN! THE KID BROKE MY ARM!" He screams. Everyone surrounds them when Jonathan and Nancy see. "Will?" Jonathan managed to mumble. "Wait.. so that's Will?!" Nancy exclaimed. Will ran out of the house and into the streets. He was gonna see Mike today. As he walked through the streets he saw many kids in different costumes knocking at each door. He didn't pay much attention to it though.

He ran until he approached Mikes house. It was decorated with craves pumpkins made by each family member. Will is suddenly startled by a skeleton animatronic. He tilts his head down and to the side causing the skeleton to fling across the front yard. He opened the door with his mind and walked inside.

Mike walked upstairs looking confused. "Mum, are you already home-" he was cut off by the sight of Will who was in the ghost costume. "Who are you?" Mike asked, his voice shaken slightly. Will took off the sheet and Mike immediately smiled and tightly embraced Will. "Wanna go eat candy in my basement?" Mike asked while pulling away from the hug. Will grinned widely and nodded vigorously. They ran downstairs together, hand in hand. Will sat on the lounge and Mike put on a Halloween movie. He put the VHS in and sat next to Will on the couch. "Dig in!" Mike said. Will smiled.

The two ate until they felt sick and fell asleep. Will woke up in the middle of the night and immediately remembered he had to go home. He quietly and slowly left Mikes arms and walked upstairs. He looked back at Mikes who was fast asleep. He smiled softly, wishing he could be with Mike for longer. He walked home and climbed through his bedrooms window. He heard his mother's footsteps so he quickly got under the covers with his shoes still on and closed the window with his mind. He closed his eyes pretending to sleep when Joyce walked in. "I know you're not asleep, Will." Joyce said, crossing her arms. Will sighed and opened his eyes. He sat up from the bed and left his legs dangling over the side of the bed. "Where were you?!" She asked.

"Nowhere." He mumbled. "Tell me the truth, Will."

"Party.. Mike.." he managed to whisper but Joyce heard. "You're not aloud outside! You know this!" She yelled. "No one saw me!" He yelled back. "But they could've!" She yelled then sighed. "Did you do anything obvious? Did you use your powers?" She asked. "Arm.. broken." Joyce gasped at his response.
