Mario's, Falcon Stone - 6:00pm /One Hour before Present

Mario's is a local restaurant a lot of the townfolk go to during nighttime. It's used all sorts of events: Birthdays, Christmas, New Years or even family reunions. This evening is just your typical Saturday: Mario placing fresh pizzas on the counter as he talks to regulars, his son Antonio bringing out fresh bottles of wine and orange juice from the storage room and Billy is gathering orders from customers.

One regular who just arrived is Morris Monroe, the toughest old man you could ever think or see. What was once dark brown hair has turned a dark grey over time. He wears a pair of old sunglasses, a camouflage green coat with a black t-shirt, brown cargo pants and a pair of black combat boots.

After a long day of fishing with his old war buddies, he just wants to grab a couple drinks and head home to his son and grandkid. It been a while since they all had pizza together; so it'd be a treat on Morris.

"Ah, Morris. Good to see you arrive at last," the portly man said in his thick Italian accent. "I thought you'd skip on your celebratory fishing drink."

"Oh, ha, ha Mario," Morris says sarcastically with gruffness. "Anyway, you wouldn't mind making me a couple pepperonis, would ya?"

"Not a problem. In fact, you'll get to try the new mozzarella I've had delivered all the way from France," Mario says in a giddy voice. "You mean the same cheese you've been waiting four weeks for?" Antonio says with a smirk. Mario turns to his son with a raised brow "Would you rather Maraschino cherries?" Antonio's face turns pale in horror. "As I thought," Mario says smugly.

Billy walks up to the men and smiles "Hey Mister Monroe." Billy is a dark skinned teenager with short, puffy, dark brown hair, a pair of gold earrings, navy blue t-shirt with a clean apron wrapped around her waist.

"Bills, you know ya can just call me Morris, you're part of our family as much as your sister is right," Morris says to Billy. " I know, I just try some professionalism skills; one of those being manners," Billy says to Morris with a grin.

"By the way, Phoebe said Monty and the Professor went over to Roller's," the young woman says to Morris. "The kids manage to get hold of that new comic they been ranting about?" Morris asks. "Yep! You should have heard Leo, he was gushing over how bright the colours were, Haha!"

"Ha! Sounds like them, just I remembered I got to ring Mike to see-"

Suddenly darkness consumes the entire restaurant.

Customers are looking around worried, some were pulling out their phones with the torch on; others start to mutter curiosities to one another. Morris turns to Mario "Ya forget to pay the bill?" Mario frowns "Of course not. I just paid it last week." Antonio noticing something outside, goes to the nearest window "I don't think we're the only ones," he says in awe.

Morris and Mario head outside; along with the rest of the restaurant. Once outside, they see that every streetlight, building and are off. Many other civilians are outside or looking out of windows with curious looks. Their expressions change to distress when they see half a dozen police cars speed down street, red and blue flaring; with sirens blaring.

Morris pulls out his phone, trying to dial Michael's number; only to go to voicemail.

'Why isn't he answering?'
