Love's War Within

I went to war with myself for you,
In battles fierce, where shadows grew,
With heart as armor, love as sword,
I faced the storm, no peace restored.

Through nights of doubt and days of pain,
I fought the ghosts within my brain,
Each silent scream, each tear I shed,
In hopes to find the path ahead.
