Charlotte

The next morning, I woke to the sound of Mick shaking me gently.

"Charlie, wake up. We've got to head to the paddock for media day," he said, his voice filled with urgency.

Groggily, I rubbed my eyes and glanced at the clock, realizing that I had overslept. Hastily, I threw back the covers and scrambled to get ready, my mind racing with thoughts of the day ahead.

Within minutes, we were out the door and on our way to the paddock. As we hurried through the bustling streets, I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement. Media day was always a whirlwind of interviews and photo ops, and I knew that today would be no exception.

Arriving at the paddock, we were greeted by the familiar sights and sounds of the racing world. The air was electric with anticipation as teams and drivers prepared for the upcoming race weekend.

Scanning our passes we are met with cameras flashing and reporters clamoring for attention, Mick and I navigated our way through the chaos, ready to face whatever the day had in store. As we approached Mercedes' hospitality area, I felt a sense of pride swell within me with Mick by my side every step of the way.

Inside the Mercedes' hospitality area, the atmosphere was buzzing with activity. Team members bustled about, making final preparations for the day ahead, while journalists and photographers jostled for position, eager to capture every moment.

Mick headed off to fulfill his media obligations, leaving me to soak in the ambiance of the hospitality area. I watched with pride as he confidently fielded questions and charmed the reporters, his passion for racing evident in every word.

As Mick's interviews progressed, I busied myself with mingling with other team members and sponsors, exchanging pleasantries and discussing the upcoming race weekend. Despite the chaos around me, I felt a sense of calm settle over me as I soaked in the hospitality of the team and the excitement of the racing world.

As the day wore on, Mick and I reconvened briefly for a quick bite to eat before he headed back out for more interviews. Despite the hectic schedule, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in Mick's accomplishments, grateful for the opportunity to support him from the sidelines.

As the sun began to set on another busy day, Mick and I made our way back to the hotel, exhaustion mingling with a sense of satisfaction. Tomorrow would bring new challenges and adventures, but for now, I was content to bask in the glow of a day well spent, with Mick by my side every step of the way.
