A few minutes passed before the bus to the area of Sunoo's university arrived, he sighed as he walked towards it, noticing Ni-ki push himself off of the pole and then do the same. Sunoo brushed it off, maybe Ni-ki was just going to a nearby area, and after all, the bus was meant to be public. Sunoo then found a seat by the window and then softly hummed a melody while he waited for the bus to start moving. While Sunoo rested peacefully, a devious plan lingered somewhere in Ni-ki's brain. He squeezed through the people and then slouched down beside Sunoo, snickering. Sunoo threw his head back against the seat and then groaned.

"I was here to annoy the hell out of you but then remembered that I found a job for the both of us." Sunoo's eyes lit up as he lifted his head from the seat and turned it to face Ni-ki, he clapped his hands, grateful that one of them had some sort of luck with the job hunting. "But," that's when Sunoo's smile fell and he bit his lip, prompting Ni-ki to continue, "The pay is not quite enough," Ni-ki said it slowly, as if he was afraid to break it to Sunoo and then sighed when he watched the older's smile fade. A part of him regretted saying it at all and then he looked down. Why was he suddenly so regretful? He never cared about how Sunoo felt ever since they met.

"I-It's okay, it's really better than nothing. I haven't even received any responses from the people I have applied to." Sunoo smiled once again and then patted Ni-ki's shoulder encouragingly but Ni-ki noticed just how Sunoo's smile didn't reach his eyes. For a moment, both of them stared and then smiled at each other, forgetting that they didn't get along until Ni-ki coughed before looking away. Sunoo did the same, suddenly finding his cheeks burning up and then rolling his eyes. "We should keep looking though, we will need multiple jobs to pay for the removal process." Ni-ki nodded as he watched Sunoo turn towards him, he knew Sunoo was right and for them to get rid of each other, they would need to act quickly.

"Work starts tomorrow, it's a 6 pm shift so don't be late. I stated in your application form that you were time-bound. It was a guess from what I saw back in the marking ceremony." Sunoo's eyes widened, he didn't expect Ni-ki to look back at their meeting let alone pay attention to detail and he nodded. "I am indeed very strict about time," the boy blushed but hid it by looking out the window. Ni-ki shook his head and then said nothing, causing silence to fall between them all the way to Sunoo's university. Once the bus stopped, Sunoo got off and walked separately towards his destination only to realize that Ni-ki was right behind him.
