After months of being friends, Asunta's feelings wanted to get outside of her heart. She couldn't help but fall more for Almos.

Almos was gentle, kind, considerate, and most importantly, loving. Whenever Asunta looks into Almos' eyes, all she can see is her being with him.
Meanwhile Almos, he looks at her as if she was some piece that was missing in his life.

They both yearn for each other, but they are terrified of what the other might feel about them.
As months went on, Asunta noticed that Almos might see her as a friend. Considering what he does to her is a friendly gesture. No one has ever been this kind to Asunta. Which is why she has fallen from the heavens for him. But when she realized that she was completely an idiot for falling over someone just because they were friendly to them. So she stops talking to Almos. Meanwhile, Almos on the other hand, was being friendly to her for her to fall for him. But he realized it wasn't working when Asunta started to avoid him. Almos wanted to work things out with Asunta.

So the next day, he tries to find her. Eventually, he did and he went up to her. Asunta resigned and paused to talk to Almos for the last time and end things off. 'Asunta' he said with a concerned tone. 'Yeah, Almos?' She replied. 'Did I do something wrong? he said with an apologetic face. 'No... you didn't' she said. 'Really? then when are you avoiding me' he asked. Asunta sighed and opened her heart to Almos. 'Almos, I don't know what I am or who I am to you' Almos looks confused. 'What do you mean by that?' he said. Asunta looked at him with sorrowful eyes. 'I'm just a friend to you right?' she said. Almos was puzzled and confused about what she said. Almos realized that his plan didn't work on Asunta and he felt defeated. After what he did for her, she saw him as a friend. 'Yeah, you're my friend' he said and looked down. 'Yeah,' she said and walked away from him. 'If only you knew how much I liked you' Almos thought to himself as he grabbed a note from his pocket. Almos seeing Asunta walking away from him felt like he lost her. It was painful for him to see the only person he truly loved was gone.

'Asunta!' He yelled at her as she paused. Almos runs up to her 'Are you really going to shut me out?' he said. 'I'm just your friend Almos what else could we be?' she looked down. 'How can I be your friend when I feel this way about you?' he thought to himself. 'So can't we just stay as friends? I mean that's all we're going to be after all' She looked into his eyes. 'If that's what you want, then I'm okay with it.' he looked away from her, avoiding making contact with her eyes.

Almos looked into her eyes 'Asunta, what do you feel about me?' he asked opening his soul and ready to be hurt by her answer.  'Almos, you're everything to me. But from what you have shown me, all you ever did was to be friends and you still shut me out' She looked into him. 'Shut you out? I never shut you out Asunta' he exclaimed. Asunta was tired of this and just paused.

'Asunta I treated you like that because you're everything to me'  he tries to reassure her. 'If you felt that way about me, about us, then why didn't you say anything?'' she looked at almost tearing up.
'Because I-' 'You're just a coward Almos' tears dropped on her face. 'Coward? you're really doing this right now?' He said 'Look Asunta, I think you're the coward one, you didn't even tell me about anything how was I supposed to know?' he exclaimed. 'If we can't even express what we felt about each other then how are we supposed to be a thing!' she said. Almos looked down and realized that maybe they weren't meant to be. 'Don't talk to me anymore Almos' as she proceeds to walk away. 'Asunta wait! Why can't we just be friends?' he begs. Asunta looked at him and just ignored what he said.

Asunta turned her back and continued to walk away. Almos on the other hand stands still with a blank expression. There were no other words to express how he felt when he saw Asunta leaving him as just a friend. His soul was shattered at that moment, he tried to reassemble it but the pieces were like a puzzle.

As Amos stood in the middle of the hall, Asunta's heart was stone as she realized of what she had done.
