SYNOPSIS ! —
When JANESSA ADKINS, Magnolia Academy's it girl, accidentally drops her designer handbag into the mall fountain, she is surprised when film nerd MATTHEW STURNIOLO retrieves it for her. However, in exchange for him rescuing her bag, Janessa has to agree to be the subject of Matthew's documentary. Janessa hopes the film will help her campaign to become Blossom Queen, claiming that winning the title means everything to her (also beating her longtime rival is an added bonus). Over the course of filming, Matthew and Janessa become acquainted despite being from opposite ends of the social spectrum. However it seems their high school statuses are causing a strain on their growing relationship.
