**The Next Day:**
Tanya arrived at the hospital as early as possible, carrying a basket filled with breakfast. The guards greeted her warmly, and she returned their greetings with a smile.
"Good morning, Bhaiyas! I've brought breakfast for you too. Please have some," she said, showing them the packet. The guards stared at her, bewildered.
"But ma'am, we usually eat in the canteen," one of the guards said hesitantly, with the other nodding in agreement. They felt awkward about her unexpected gesture.
"Why? Is my cooking that bad?" Tanya asked, pouting sadly.
"No, no. Not at all. It's just that you're our boss's wife," one guard stammered.
"So?" she asked, placing a hand on her hip.
"I am your boss's wife, but I'm also like your sister, right?" The guards nodded, their expressions softening.
"Yes. Now you both go and eat. I'll be with Ryan."
"Thank you, sister," they chirped, grabbing the packet and heading to the canteen.
Tanya laughed softly and entered Ryan's room to find him watching the news.
"Oh, you're here!" Ryan exclaimed happily, setting the remote aside.
"Yep."
"How are you?" she asked gently. He gave her a small smile.
"Fine. And what's this?" he asked, pointing to the basket.
"Your delicious breakfast for today," she grinned, placing the basket on the side table.
"Really?" he asked, his excitement evident.
"Yes," she nodded.
"And is it Italian?"
"Um... yeah," she replied, pursing her lips to suppress a laugh.
"Let's eat then." He sat up straight, rubbing his hands together in anticipation. Only he knew how much he had missed her delicious homemade food.
"Wait, wait, wait... Did you brush your teeth?" she asked seriously.
"Yes."
"And how?" He frowned.
"I mean, who helped you brush?"
"Well... the nurse."
"Male or female?"
"Male."
"Good," she smiled and started unpacking the basket.
"How possessive are you, Miss Mehra?" he teased with a smirk. Tanya cursed under her breath.
"Possessive? Me? No way!" She waved her hand dismissively.
"Yeah, yeah."
Ignoring his mockery, she took out a casserole with a mischievous grin. Ryan sensed something was up.
"So, let me present today's special dish..." She exclaimed, holding the box out to him. Ryan's excitement grew.
"Ta-da!" She removed the lid, revealing a steaming bowl of porridge. Ryan's expression turned from excitement to disgust.
"Italian porridge," she announced. Ryan immediately closed his nose.
"What the hell, Tanya! Go away, shoo shoo."
"What happened? It's good for you, especially in your condition. It took me two hours to make this, but I did it for you," she explained, her tone turning more serious. He rolled his eyes at her persistence.
