They understood that living in the orphanage wasn't the best or ideal situation but they always tried their best to keep everyone happy, now and then they would do special little things like making a cake, making up special games, and they knew that anything they wanted to do had to be really cheap or free.

A lot of the children loved clowns and desperately wanted to see one in person, not through a dirty window or on the tiny little television. Every Thursday morning, all of the young children would wake up early and gather at the window just to watch the other children outside of the fence, getting balloon animals and playing freely.

They would always ask if they could leave the fence and get a ballon animal. The workers always said no as they feared they would run away.

~ The next day ~

All the children had woken up, and their contagious giggles and laughter had filled the room. The sound of their little feet tapping around on the ground while they shriek in joy as they each find their new poster. One of the worker calls out to Jennifer, Ivy and Natalie, the girls rush to the worker waiting for the door to open...

The younger children begin to swarm around with quirt whispers to each other wondering who would be getting adopted. The door finally opens and a clown in a red and white jumpsuit with a pink fluffy tutu with a bright red wig slowly walks in with his trolley full of balloons. The younger children's whispers become squeals and they begin to line up each waiting for their balloon.

Ivy senses that something off about this clown and slowly walks towards Jennifer and whispers to her asking her if there's something off about this clown as he keeps staring in ivy's direction. They both brush it off and walk to the kids who are now drawing pictures and watching television.
