three months,
three months had passed. taehyung and eunwoo were together, or so it seemed. the real question was: was he truly happy with eunwoo?
hell yeah, he should be, right? after all, eunwoo was the man of taehyung's dreams.
"hey, babe!" taehyung's train of thought was interrupted by eunwoo's voice from behind, but he didn't turn around. he knew it wasn't directed at him.
eunwoo loved appetizers, taehyung was well aware, and he was content as long as he remained the main course. taehyung sighed and turned around, only to see his boyfriend's face buried in the neck of some random girl.
he rolled his eyes and approached them. taehyung tapped eunwoo on the shoulder, plastering a smile on his face. "hey, babe."
taehyung couldn't help but think how eunwoo used the same affectionate names for his flings as he did for taehyung. he gave the girl a strained smile and said through gritted teeth, "i'm taehyung, eun's boyfriend. and you are?"
taehyung clenched his jaw as he saw the girl roll her eyes. "babe, she's my friend, hana," eunwoo said dismissively.
"hello, hana," taehyung said curtly, then dragged eunwoo away.
"could you at least not do that right in front of me?" taehyung said, ordering himself a drink.
they were at the club, eunwoo's favorite spot for date nights. taehyung had always imagined romantic dates with long walks, candlelit dinners, and cozy movie nights. instead, he often found himself reminiscing about the times he had those cuddles and movie nights with jeongguk more than with eunwoo in the past two months.
and jeongguk?
as quickly as they had become each other's needs, they had become strangers just as fast. despite attending numerous successful parties for their movies, jeongguk never stayed longer than necessary. he would leave after giving interviews or not show up at all.
taehyung's heart ached when, during an interview, someone asked jeongguk:
"so, mr. jeon jeongguk, any changes in your past statements about love?" the journalist's tone was light, with a hint of humor.
everyone's attention was on the movie's director, jeon jeongguk, while taehyung, the lead actor, watched him with a mixture of confusion and longing.
