"He's not here, Tanya," Derik informed gently.
"I don't care. I want to see that man," Tanya shouted, her voice filled with anguish. Tanya, overcome with intense emotion, yelled that she didn't care about the circumstances and insisted on seeing the man she sought.
Derik flinched at her intensity but nodded, understanding her determination.
Derik recoiled slightly at Tanya's forceful outburst but acknowledged her resolve with a nod.
"Alright, follow me," he sighed.
Derik, exhaling in resignation, instructed Tanya to follow him, indicating he would take her to the man.
They both got into the car, and as Derik started the engine, Tanya leaned her head against the window, closing her eyes. Memories and fragmented thoughts swirled in her mind:
Both entered the car, and as Derik started it, Tanya rested her head against the window, closing her eyes as a flood of disjointed memories and thoughts consumed her.
"I wish to have a romantic and faithful husband in the future."
A past desire crossed Tanya's mind, where she longed for a loving and loyal husband.
"Marry me for my mother."
She remembered a significant moment when someone had proposed to her, motivated by a sense of duty to his mother.
"This relationship is nothing but fake."
Tanya recalled a painful accusation that their relationship was insincere and false.
"I heard he's in a relationship with Olivia Morris."
A rumor she once heard resurfaced, claiming that the man she loved was involved with another woman, Olivia Morris.
"You are a certified man-whore."
A harsh and accusatory label that was thrown at the man she cared about echoed in her mind.
"He's not like that."
A defensive statement she made to protect the man's character came back to her.
"His condition is very critical."
Tanya remembered a grave moment when she learned that Ryan's health was in a critical state.
"I'm ready to give our relationship a chance."
She thought of the time when she decided to open her heart and give their relationship another try.
"I love you, Ryan."
A deeply emotional moment flashed by when she confessed her love to Ryan.
"This was all revenge, baby."
She remembered a chilling revelation when she discovered that everything was a scheme for revenge.
"Andrew underwent a highly risky face transplant and adopted Ryan's voice and appearance."
"Ryan is dead..."
The haunting realization that Ryan was truly dead echoed in her thoughts.
"Ryan is dead..."
The painful truth repeated itself in her mind.
"Ryan is dead...
TANYA..." Derik's urgent shout pierced through her reverie, jolting her back to reality.Derik's shout pulled her out of her thoughts. She opened her teary eyes and stared at him.
Startled by Derik's shout, Tanya snapped out of her deep contemplation, opening her tear-filled eyes to look at him.
