**Tanya's POV**
"Welcome, Miss Tanya, to our school." Mrs. Prema, the principal of the Indian School of Dubai, embraced me warmly. I smiled politely and accepted the bouquet she offered.
"First of all, thank you for accepting our invitation. When we received Mrs. Richard's review about you, we were very eager to welcome you to our school. And I am glad that you accepted our request," she chirped.
"I am also thankful to you for welcoming me here," I replied with a smile.
"But Miss Tanya, you are an economics professor. Why did you choose to teach kindergarten?" Mrs. Prema asked, which made me a bit uncomfortable.
"Sorry, Tanya. I just asked out of curiosity. I think you deserve a much higher position given your qualifications," she added quickly.
"Well, Mrs. Prema, everyone needs a change in their life at some point. This is my change," I replied. She nodded with an appreciative smile."So, Mrs. Teena will explain the other matters, okay?"
Giving a respectful nod, I walked out of her office.
With a happy mindset, I maneuvered towards the small garden in the middle of the school. Finding a seat, I sat down, letting the cool breeze caress my skin and hair.
After everything that happened, I really wanted to move away from my old country. I needed to refresh my heart and mind, erasing all those awful moments. By God's grace, Mrs. Richard accepted my resignation and provided glowing reviews to other school principals. And now, here I am.
I love kids a lot. Their innocent talks, smiles, and laughter can brighten anyone's day, even a stone-hearted person's. That's why I chose to be a tutor in a school instead of a college.
I longed to get my old life back—a life with my parents and sister, my small happy family. But what did I do? I never informed them about my decision, and now I'm hiding from everyone.
I will inform them about everything except the truth because I can't break my loved ones' hearts like he did. My eyes welled up thinking about him and our past life.
"Arghh! Why the hell am I thinking about him?"
"Tanya, you should stop crying for a man who never acknowledged you," I whispered to myself, wiping my tears.
"This is your new life, Tanya. Now, I will never see that man again."
"This stupid boy..."
I turned around, hearing a few teachers shouting. Standing on my toes, I walked towards them.
"Look at how he's behaving with us. Such a spoilt brat," one teacher commented, staring at the closed door. I felt uneasy hearing their conversation.
"Excuse me," I interrupted. They looked at me with frowns.
"Yes?"
"Hi, I'm Tanya, the new tutor. Actually, who are you talking about?" I asked curiously.
One teacher sighed and replied, "Tanya, look at that kid." I peeked inside to see a little boy sitting on a bed, staring outside.
"This boy never listens to anyone. He is only five years old. Being a billionaire's son, we can't say anything against him," she said. I controlled my urge to snap at her. How can she speak like this about a child?
"He gets special treatment compared to other kids—bed for bed, food for food. If he needs anything, we have to do it like slaves. But he won't study or listen to us. He won't even open that pretty little mouth of his. I wonder how his parents are suffering with such a good-for-nothing son." They giggled, making me angry.
"Don't you have any manners or a bit of humanity? Are you even real teachers? Because no teacher would speak about their student like this. Such a shameless act!" I exclaimed in disgust.
