Mumtaz was awestruck to see her dear son smiling all evening. She entered his room with his dinner, glancing at him as he happily drew something.

"Baccha," she called lovingly.

Zain moved his book from his lap, threw his little arms around her, and side-hugged her. Mumtaz chuckled and took him in her arms after placing the platter on the table.

"What is the reason behind your beautiful smile?" she cooed.

Zain clapped his hands excitedly and gestured for her to wait before sprinting towards the couch. He took his drawing book and returned to her.

"Ammi, today I got a new friend. She is my teacher, and she is very nice to me. I like her a lot," Zain chirped. Mumtaz stared at him in amusement.

"Acha...that means you like her more than me?" she asked, feigning sadness. Instantly, Zain hugged her, shaking his head frantically, making Mumtaz laugh.

Suddenly, Zain remembered something and left the hug. He took the book, turned to the middle page, and handed it to his mother.

"Ammi, miss told me to show you this," Zain informed. Mumtaz frowned and read the scribble.

"मैं तुम्हारे दुखों के बारे में जानता हूं। मेरा विश्वास करो, मैं तुम्हारी मदद कर सकता हूँ। क्या हम देख सकते हैं ? अगर हां तो आप इस नंबर पर कॉल कर सकते हैं 96..................12"

(I know about your miseries. Believe me, I can help you. Can we meet? If yes, you can call me at this number 96...........12)

Tanya wrote it in Hindi as she didn't want Zain to understand it. Mumtaz thought for a while but decided not to call her.

The next day, Tanya was waiting for Zain impatiently. She wanted to know how Mumtaz reacted after reading her note.

Amar put on the brakes as they reached the school. Zain squealed in his seat, making Amar frown.

"What happened to you, Zain? You've been smiling since you entered the car," Amar pointed out.

Zain asked him to open the window shield, which he did. Zain's lips curled into a smile on seeing Tanya near the gate. He raised his hand and pointed at her. Amar followed his finger but couldn't see her face properly.

"Who is she?" Amar asked.

"She is my new teacher."

After helping Zain with his school bag, Amar picked him up and walked to the entrance of the school.

Tanya fumed at the sight. She misunderstood Amar as Zain's father and started cursing him. On the other hand, Amar frowned, seeing Tanya's pointed look at him.

"Put him down," Tanya ordered.

"Excuse me?" Amar was shocked because no one, especially a girl, had ever ordered him.

"I said put him down, mister," Tanya yelled. Amar gritted his teeth in anger and placed Zain on the floor.

"You are his father, right?" Tanya asked, narrowing her eyes.

"What the..."

Zain held Tanya's hand to get her attention. He then gestured to her, trying to clear her misunderstanding, but Tanya didn't understand.

"I am his uncle," Amar clarified.

Tanya looked at him with wide eyes. She tucked her hair strands in embarrassment.

"I am so sorry. I misjudged you." Amar nodded but his eyes were savouring Tanya's figure. She noticed this and adjusted her saree.

"Ahm...Zain, let's go." Zain jumped excitedly. Tanya smiled, held his arm, and took him inside.

"Feisty. I like it," Amar smirked and licked his lower lip in lust.

Hearing the doorbell, Andrew switched off the television and told Nick to open the door. Nick unlocked the door and stepped aside to show Andrew the guest.

"Welcome, Miss Mumtaz," Andrew greeted with an evil smile and gestured for her to come inside.

Mumtaz clutched the file tightly as she walked towards him.

"Sit," he ordered.

"No thanks. I will stand."

"SIT." Mumtaz flinched at his shout and immediately sat on the sofa in front of him.

"Have you brought it?" Mumtaz nodded and gave him the file. Andrew took it from her hands and started reading. Mumtaz stared at Andrew. His face resembled Ryan's, which churned her heart. The past flashed before her eyes. Tears welled up. She gripped the handle of the sofa tightly to control her tears.

"You are remembering, huh?" Mumtaz gasped and looked up to see him staring at her with a smirk.

"This..." He pointed at her pale face. "This is what I want."

"That's why I underwent such a risky operation. You and your husband should remember all the merciful things done to my friend after seeing my face. You should die in guilt thinking about all that." Mumtaz started crying harder.

Andrew marched and gripped her jaw tightly. "CRY, CRY, CRY....CRY, BITCHHHHH..." He pushed her to the floor. Nick looked away, unable to stomach the scene.

"An..Andrew pl..ease...."

"DON'T TAKE MY NAME, BITCH." He screamed at her. She moved back, feeling scared.

"You trapped my friend with your innocent tricks. You took my friend away from me, and lastly, you killed him." He yelled at her face. Mumtaz clasped her mouth and hiccupped.

"Now the game is in my hands. You will help me to kill your husband." He smirked proudly.

With the support of the couch, Mumtaz stood and glanced at him. "It was not my intention. Zafar, he...."

"STOP." He shouted, interrupting her.

"I am not interested in hearing your lies. Go and bring the remaining documents next week." He ordered. Mumtaz again tried to speak, but he yelled and pushed her outside.

At the school, Amar was waiting for Tanya and Zain. He smirked as he saw them.

"Get ready with your charms, Amar."

"Zain, please ask your Ammi to call me, okay?" Tanya reminded him. Zain gave her an assuring smile.

Opening the car door, Amar walked towards them. Tanya stiffened on seeing him while Zain smiled widely and ran to him.

"Hi, Tanya," Amar greeted after picking Zain up in his arms.

"You know my name?" she asked, surprised.

"I saw it on your badge," he pointed at her black coat. She nodded in understanding.

"Ahm..bye, Zain. See you tomorrow." She hurriedly said, wanting to escape his gaze.

"Tanya, wait." He called out, halting her steps.

"Ahm..actually..can we have a private conversation tomorrow after your class?"

"For what?"

"I want to share an important matter with you," he said, making Tanya think he wanted to talk about Zain's parents.

"Of course. We can meet tomorrow." Amar instantly grinned.

"Great! I will pick you up after the class. See you." He waved at her before jogging to his car. Meanwhile, Tanya was having second thoughts, wondering if her decision was wrong.
