When The City Goes Silent, The Ringing In My Ears Gets Violent

Chapter One: The Invitation

*Skylars pov*
Hi my name is Skylar Jones and I play for the band Last Breath. My band wasn't the biggest band in the world but we had enough popularity to be considered a serious band. Last Breath was formed when we were still in high school but we didn't get signed till we were all in college. We are super excited because we got an email the other day that was asking if we wanted to go on tour with the band Fall Out Boy. We of course said yes but we are all super nervous to go on tour with them because come on its freaking Fall Out Boy. I have decided to keep this journal while we are going on tour with them so I can write down my raw emotions and so I can look back on this event and think about how this would change out lives forever.

*Dylans pov*
Skylar looked so peaceful when she was writing in her journal. She decided to keep a journal while we were going on tour with Fall Out Boy. This was fine with me because I didn't care what she did as long as she was safe. If you couldn't tell I have a really big crush on Skylar but she doesn't know even though everyone else in the band knows.
"Hey what you thinking about?" said Ashely. I jumped a little bit when I heard here voice which caused her to start laughing.

"Shut up, you scared me." She was still laughing when I said this.

" How can I scare you? You are the toughest person in the band but you get scared by the weakest member!" When she said this it caught the attention for Skylar.

"You got scared by Ashley? Really, she is like the weakest person here, if anything I should be the one that scares you!" She said this while playfully punching my on the shoulder.

" I would love to be scared by you" I said this pretty fast which made things pretty awkward. Skylar started to slowly back away while laughing. I went back to my room to think about how I caused an awkward situation especially with Skylar there.

*Skylars pov*
"That was really awkward" I said to Ashley. "You do realize that he has a really big crush on you right?"

"No he doesn't, why would anybody like me? And besides I've never thought about him in that way." I said very forcefully.

"And besides tour starts in a few days so we have to start getting ready, I don't have time to think about boys." I said this in a very playful fashion but I still think it came off as rude.

"Whatever, I'll talk to you later Sky" Ashley said.

"BYE" I yelled back. This was going to be a fun summer.
