Dave x Jade

Chapter One: "All I was attempting to do was read!"

You're name is Jade Harley, you are an active scientist and reader that loves nature! As a matter of fact, you make the best effort you can to be close to nature as possible. It's a groggy afternoon and the sun will be going down in about two hours. You go to the woods in your neighborhood to go read. You no longer live on your island so you aren't as close to plants as you used to be. You're wearing a cute navy blue v-neck sweater with a pair of black leggings with average Converse shoes. Your long black locks hang around as usual with your large geek glasses. You grab a book on Carl Segan's book The Cosmos: Theories About The Universe and begin your walk to the woods. After about twenty or so minutes of walking, you make it to your woodland area and trudge towards your favorite tree. You slither up the tree up to a sturdy branch. The breeze gently kisses your cheeks as the you whiff the smells or crisp fall maple trees. You turn the books pages and then begin to read the words on the pages. About twenty minutes go by and you take a break and stretch your legs. However, the branch began to wobble and things moved quickly in a blurry flash as you fell off out of the tree and thumbed harshly to the ground on your stomach and knees. Your first reflex was you yelling out loud in pain due to the fall. You attempted to stand, but your legs wobbled and collapsed. You yell out again as you stump over. "Great!" you thought to yourself. "All I was attempting to do was read but as soon as I stretch I HAD to fall out of the tree. I can't walk either. Shit... I should have brought my phone."

You sit against the tree and lean your back on the trunk. You lean your head back and clothes your eyes and rip out a huge sigh. You suddenly begin to hear the crunching on the leaves on the ground rustle. A person approaches you. "What's with all the huffing and puffing? I thought I heard someone over here but I guess I just stumbled into somebody that seems like someone just pissed in there apple juice. Sorry to interrupt your emo kid 'I'm in a forest sighing leaning against a tree' shindig, but I heard yelling. You okay?" You see that it's Dave talking to you. He's wearing a red flannel, black shades on, and black skinny jeans with white Vans. "No, Dave. " you respond. "I just fell off a tree and my legs really hurt. I couldn't even stand up." You frown. "This seriously sucks. I can't even walk home and my house is a twenty minute walk away. " Dave looked at you with a blank stare and then a moment later responds. "Look, Harley, I know we're not close or anything like that, but if you want I can carry you back to my place. I'm only five minutes away. But no, you don't have to thank me TOO much. Your praise and respect can wait till we get to my place because this favor is just SO massive and out of my way." You giggle. "I see this is your way of saying you care about me and want to take me back to your house, huh? Hehe, well, you're going to have to carry me. Remember, legs are still kinda in a lot of pain." "No pain, no game." He says. He scoops you up and begins to follow a dirt trail into the heart of the woods.

"So, Dave, why were you walking around the forest? Don't cool kids not have enough time for that?" You ask. "I was just looking out for you. I didn't want you to just suffer there in agony. Plus, it's anyone's reaction to go investigate a female screaming in the woods." You and Dave weren't actually close friends but more of "I know them, but I don't KNOW KNOW them" type of people. He was close to your friend John, and you see him around but have talked several times but till now you guys were really bonding, and you for some reason really liked it.

Dave walks up with you in his arms to an apartment complex. He cut through the woods and got to Main Street. He climbs up some stairs and uses one hand to open a burgundy door.
