Ever since the mysterious new boy was introduced in their self made band, Jungsu's thoughts have been all over the place. The calm and collected personality of his wasn't present, since he was recruited.

It had only been a couple of months, yet these past few months felt like years. He's been trying to go back to how he was before. But it seemed like ever since they met, his life would never be normal again.

His life was completely chaotic. But it wasn't the bad chaotic, it wasn't the one that makes you want to rip out your hair and scream in frustration.

It was a sweet one, a sort of wholesome chaos. Nothing that bad really happened, apart from the feelings inside of Jungsu, brewing up, they felt like they were going to overflow.

"Jungsu-hyung, could you watch what I practiced?" A familiar and comforting voice called out. Before him, he thought that a voice could never be his favourite. Yet such a thing happened. It was all his fault. This voice though, it would make Jungsu's mind go crazy. His normal and collected faults would only return a couple of seconds later.

He was trying to focus, he replayed the words in his head, to make sure he was answering the right thing. So he nodded and followed him.

Their fingers were interlocked as Seungmin went to his instrument. He started playing the notes, the way he played would always put Jungsu in a trance. He found the way he pressed down on the keys to be one of the most attractive things he's seen in his 22 years of living.

Seungmin's feelings were most definitely reciprocated. Now, he was able to manage the feelings he developed much better than Jungsu.

His mind wasn't fuzzy because of love. It wasn't because his feelings weren't as strong as Jungsu, quite the opposite, they were probably even stronger; it was just how he functioned. He was able to control his emotions much better, and he could still think in a "normal" manner.

He wanted to confess many many times. And the opportunities were present very often. It was the voice in his head telling him that Jungsu didn't like him back. And he didn't want to be rejected.

And he didn't want any awkward tensions in the band; especially since he was the most recent member. He didn't have as strong of a bond as the other boys yet. It would take time, he knew that, of course.

At this moment, seeing Jungsu watch him with such admiration in his eyes. He knew that this was the time, he had to say it. He couldn't hold it in anymore. There were no "what ifs" in his head. There was only "I'm gonna confess and he's going to love me back" in his mind. He was practically sure that he liked him back.

"Jungsu-hyung, I like you!" He blurted out, not fully realising until after the words left his mouth and replayed in his mind what he had just said. He bit his lip and waited for the older boy's response. His heart felt heavy in such a moment, he was now starting to regret saying that.

Jungsu didn't say anything for a couple of minutes. Although it was just around 180 seconds, it felt like an eternity in Seungmin's mind.

Jungsu was trying to process what he just heard. If he understood correctly, Seungmin just confessed to him. Which meant that they had mutual feelings.

He looked Seungmin in the eyes, trying to make sure that he wasn't messing with him. Playing some sort of stupid prank. He knew he wasn't the type, but sometimes the people you least expect are actually like that.

Though the sincerity on his face told him the whole story.

He was over the moon when hearing such a thing come out of Seungmin's mouth. He could kiss him in that moment, which is what they'd be doing a bit later, once they officially started dating.

"This is the best day of my life! I like you too!" Jungsu exclaimed going up to Seungmin to hug him tightly. The latter didn't give hugs much, but he wrapped his arms around the elder.

"Holy shit! So will you be my boyfriend?" Seungmin ended the hug as he was out of breath due to how tightly Jungsu was hugging him. The latter nodded, with a wide smile on his face.

Jungsu then gave him a quick peck on the lips before pulling him out of the practice room.

The best part of being a self made, individual band meant that they had no company. It meant that they could date freely and release (a/n: it took me 17 tries to spell that right 😭😭) whatever music they wanted.
