It was 10:48 p.m. and my phone died. As I pulled up at my apartment, I had seen Mr. Tinkles (My neighbors cat) run in front of my car; stepping on the brakes I prayed that I didn't hit the dumb cat. As I stepped out of my car I sit there staring at a lifeless cat that I had just hit, on accident. I run inside and grab a garbage bag and some gloves to go clean it up off of the driveway before Mr and Mrs. Conners sees the dead cat.
After cleaning up the mess, I hop back into my car and pull it up the rest of the way; getting out, I run inside so that way I don't startle my parents and slowly close the door... The house was quiet... Too quiet. So I walk into the living room and see the lamp sitting on the nightstand turn on.
"Where have you been?" A muffled voice asks. Thank god it was just my dad.
"At work dad, sorry I know I'm late." I take a few steps towards him.
"Why haven't you answered my texts or calls?"
"Because my phone died father, sorry." I started to walk over to the stairs.
"Goodnight honey and next time, bring your phone charger to work with you."
"Yes."
"Yes what?"
"Yes sir." I say sturnly.
He laughs along with me. I run up stairs and quickly out my phone on charge. I grab my laptop and turn it on while I'm waiting for my phone to boot up. As soon as it did all I felt was my phone vibrate over and over again. Scrolling through the texts , I see one unfamiliar number.
Unknown
"Hi cassidie. I have a few pictures of you nude."
I wasn't sure if I should just delete the unknown number and forget about it or text back. I texts back right away.
Cassidie
"Who the hell are you? And how do you have pictures of me naked?" I quickly clicked the send button.
My phone light up again notifying me that I have a message. It was the unknown number again. I opened the message he/she had sent me and read it.
Unknown
"I am someone you know. But you will never know who it is unless I tell you. Now if you don't want these images leaked out on the internet then do as I say."
Cassidie
"You are a sick bastard." I replied back to them as fast as my fingers could type.
Unknown
"Why thank you, Cassidie."
Cassidie
"Leave me alone." I typed, then I depleted the messages and went to go lay down for bed.
As I drifted off to sleep, I had seen my phone light up again; ignoring it I turned over and fell into deep sleep.
