You were sitting on one of the couches in savanaclaw with Ruggie and Leona, Ruggie and you were making candy necklaces that he ate up before it was even finished meanwhile Leona was cutting new string for him.
After a while Grim and Jack came back and Grim had told you that they still decided to go underwater without you and had actually gotten chased by the twins. The same day when you were with those two.
Azul had asked you to stay a bit longer so you could talk about the contracts while Floyd and Jade went "home", it was his plan all along! To make you drop your guard and forget about your friends and the contract.
Ruggie looked at Jack and Grim disappointed, "What? You guys actually went to the Coral Sea?" He asks as Leona laughs at him, "Hah! How stupid can you get?" He mocks.
"Mrah?! But you're the guy who said to "get the ball rolling" right now!" Grim yells at him, feelings betrayed and confused. Leona huffs before responding, "Hmph. "Challenging merfolk head-on in the water is a losing proposition no matter how you slice it. It's like walking into a carnivore's mouth." He says in a mocking tone as Jack growls at his Housewarden and vice-Housewarden, "Did you guys know the twins were actually mermen this whole time?"

"I saw Floyd in his natural form at a joint swimming class last summer, and boy, let me tell you... If that guy came after me in the water, I'd be done for. End of story." Ruggie laughs it off but his goofy laugh faded and his ears drooped when he thought of Floyd.

Jack growls while crossing his arms, "It woulda been nice to know that beforehand!" He yells. Leona looks at him unfazed, "Last I checked, you were the guys who ran off half-cocked without bothering to gather any intel. I would've been happy to share it all in detail if you'd asked."
Ruggie nods his head furiously, "Yeah! You gotta cover your bases before you start pickin' fights, y'know? Shyeheehee! Back at the Savanna, you gotta tread carefully if you don't wanna end up as someone's dinner."

You halt your candy necklace making and look up at him, "..Yeah, I was at the beach with them and Azul asked me to stay behind when the twins left. He knew what y'all were gonna do and knew that I would probably fight the twins so he made me forget about the contract and everythin' so we wouldn't succeed our end of the deal."
