Lily mortega pov:
Hey everybody, I’m Lily Mortega, an 18-year-old Gen Z whose life sucks. News flash: I have a mentally disturbed mother who lives in the 21st century but acts like she’s in the 18th. My mother is an etiquette teacher for the royals—yes, royals in Europe still exist if anyone’s wondering. Moving on, my mother wants me to carry on her legacy. She is extremely strict and abusive in her etiquette training, to the point where I have scars on my skin.THIS PICTURE DOESN'T BELONG TO ME
My mother believes a female should be delicate, poised, and classy, and that she should learn to bear pain. Seriously, why should we? For fuck sake, women are living creatures, not a freaking punching bags. My life is extremely controlled: I’m not allowed to go outside, be on social media, talk louder than a whisper, play sports, or make guy friends.
Boring, right? So I decided to do everything behind her back. Just wait, Mother. I secretly learned archery, pretending it was embroidery (thank you, online tutorials!). I bought novels that gave me a clearer picture of society and helped me cope with my mother’s medieval mindset. I just finished a hilariously cringy novel called "Your Love: Bright as the Sun," and now I’m ready to execute my grand escape plan.
I'm legally an adult and have saved quite a bit of money. I stayed with my mother because I needed financial support, but now it’s time to fly the coop. I tied a rope to my balcony and attempted to climb down like a ninja. Suddenly, my hand slipped, and I fell to the ground with a loud thud. As I lay there, feeling like my end was near, I thought, "Bro, I can’t die—I need to spend that money!"
Feeling dizzy, I closed my eyes and everything went black. Seriously, what a way to go.First chapter completes here second will have follow up a day later i created it to read for my self if u loved it just keep reading i create and post everyday
